Apparently I was wrong, or as I prefer to believe, early. Joe offers no help on the campaign trail. Seeing him is a reminder of what's really going on. Can they keep him completely out of sight until November? I still think he's gone before the convention, otherwise it could get messy.
Brett Baier on Fox just did a funny. He was interviewing Jamie Raskin- obnoxious dem hack that he is. And Brett was asking him about Kamala so Raskin immediately goes into gloating mode and what a powerhouse she is, blah, blah, blah. Then part way into Raskin's babbling away Brett plays a clip of him from last year where he is talking about the need to replace her on the ticket to help Biden win. Funny dat.
Kamala Harris lost to crappy candidates in 2020 in the primaries. It seems unlikely she will do much better against Trump. I'm pretty sure come August 19 there will be a different candidate on the ticket. My guess is Hillary Clinton will come back from her slumber.
Oh, you know it's all media hands on deck. It's going to take every trick in the book to pull this one, and they're already five plays behind. But never underestimate the dirty playbook the democrats and media allies have.
Now, I am going to painfully invoke the name of Sarah Palin here and tell you why. Dems will argue that I am just taking a swipe at Kamala, and I am. Kamala and Palin and different but I noticed a commonality right out of the gate. The very first two days of Kamala out on the trail. Y'all will recall that Palin's first speech went quite well with the crowds. She used the line "What's difference between a soccer mom and a mamma bear? Lipstick!" They loved it. Problem is she went to the next town and gave the exact same speech and it had lost its steam because they had heard the gist of it. Then she went to another town- same frigging speech. Consequently Palin started going south pretty fast. Sorry pubs, we have our painful memories too. But I see that going on with Kamala RIGHT FROM THE GET-GO. Her second speech was exactly the same as her first. She is hugging that teleprompter tighter than a bull's arse at flyswatting time. THAT'S GOING TO BE A PROBLEM. Both Joe and Kamala need/needed teleprompters. Both Trump and JD do not. So that carves out different opportunities and problems for them. I will say again what I will say up until November. ie. Kamala is in a race against time. She checks all the boxes, and has the lefty cabal to launch her. But- just as in the past- the month will come when the voters just say "okay, this broad is just too stupid for me." The short election campaign time for her will help her tremendously with this. She has no ability to go beyond five months. As in the first time she ran. Problem is, the time to voting is much less than that so it is dicey. However, many already know how stupid she is so that works against her. The trance-state dems can't be helped. Too dumb to fix. But the independents are another matter.
