The Laffin' Kamala does remove the anger and gloom of Biden . If she can control her giddiness it will help her.....The betting markets are not hopeful
All of those points were acknowledged and covered in my previous posts saying "If possible I would not want to open the Kamala can of worms." Where I would disagree a bit is that - actually- Kamala is stupid and that works against her bigtime over time. But as I said in my post on this, it works to her advantage in a short race. As I said: "the dems just have a perenniel boner for trying to get her elected because she checks all the boxes" but over time it collapses. Just as it did in her first run. She was the odds on favorite going in but did not get a single delegate vote and dropped out before Iowa. Ultimately voters just said "Jesus, this woman is an idiot even though she looks good in theory." That is the risk and the dynamics of the current race. Will the sugar high last long enough to keep her supported until the election or will she just look good to some for a two months then it just wears on them and the floor falls out? In regard to this being a close race, never been a single thought or utterance otherwise. My position has always been that - regardless of candidate in the slot- that there is a pile of dems who have a get-out-the-vote machine which includes extensive legal and illegal means- and the Republicans have no ground game and that they held on to Ronna McRomney for two years too long. She is dumber than dogshit though. I can't join with you on the "she is not stupid" part. Even the Biden administration has been shuffling her from role to role to find something where she does not appear stupid. This is the proper way to confront and deal with Kamala.
I'll get some incoming artillery on this one I'm sure... but she has a very camera friendly face. She's pretty. A little chuncky, but whatever. Her face can emote a loving sweetness that is easy on the eye's when she needs it to, but it can also flash a strong look of resoluteness when the podium is hers and she wants to make a point. Hillary had the latter but certainly lacked the former. No "easy on the eyes" there. What we have seen up till now, the cackling Kamala... we can all agree, she acts like an airhead... but the groomers know (and see) exactly what I wrote above. They are going to make her look sweet yet strong. There's a whole science to this. Everything she has or has not (think border czar or ai czar) done up till now... it'll be forgotten. If we could quantify America's aggregate attention span, and put it on a 30 year chart... it would look like the current 3 year chart of Big Lots, and corporate media is getting ready to go full throttle to make sure that is exactly what will happen. Trump's landslide is gone. Mark my word, those betting odds are going to start dropping. EDIT: Tree, I was writing at the same time you were.
The magic of media and hundreds of millions of dollars in ads will lift her in some areas. BUT, for consideration, the Biden Campaign and Biden Administration have known- through massive marketing analysis and obvious perceptions- that Kamala was a drag on the ticket and hurt his campaign and hurt his administration. They have already put mucho, mucho, mucho dollars into trying to fix this dumb broads image. And it has not worked. The number one way to help Joe's numbers has always been to replace Kamala or get her to drop out. I am not disagreeing the notion that the current atmosperics give her an immediate and substantial lift- at least for a while. But the notion that she is somehow some unnoticed sweet and smiling and bright face that just needs to be madison-avenued a little and introduced to the public is a stretch. They been trying to put lipstick on that pig with everything they got for years. The other day I quoted a pundit who put it properly. He said that the dems have felt like they have been in prison with no escape for so long that they are like prisoners who start laughing and hugging with their captors when they are released. And it is in that way that Kamala benefits right now. But she is dumber than dogshit and is in a race against time to get elected before the public inevitably rediscovers it.
Rumor mill has Biden in critical condition, maybe stroked out. If true, they probably took him off the voodoo juice that's been keeping him upright. He'll be gone soon. Few days ago I thought he could hobble along to January. The powers that be seem to have other plans. Kamala as a simple candidate cannot beat Trump IMO, but President Kamala would be in a much stronger position. President Kamala gets through the convention with ease. Candidate Kamala may have trouble. Joe has to go for that to happen.
Wow. If he is, isn't there some amendment or rule that the VP takes a temporary oath? When the president is incapacitated?
Kamala will get the best media one can get over the next week By the end of the month Kamala better have a 3-4 pt lead or else shes toast
