The CHIPS Act is good on paper but where are they going to get all the hardware engineers from? Here in the heart of Silicon Valley with multiple great science schools most people abandoned EE/CS (Electrical Engineering/Computer Science) majors for just CS since software is where the big money is. You can make $125K at Intel/AMD or $250K at Apple, Google, Amazon, Meta, etc. EE has been dying since I graduated back 1991. Another problem is the profit margin of Fab plants are extremely thin which is the reason US semiconductor companies abandoned it starting in the late 1990s. Intel, AMD, nVidia, Texas Instruments, Microchip, etc. all abandoned it years ago. That's the reason Taiwan Semiconductor became so dominant to begin with.
It's not just Stormy who is being paid off with campaign funds. Deeply troubling': Trump campaign accused of concealing settlement payouts to multiple women https://www.alternet.org/trump-campaign-settlement/
If this were true, wouldn't Cohen have already brought this up already? Especially in his book. Not sure on the timeline, but wasn't he around thru early 2018?
Most of this came out recently — or at least the part that the women working for the Trump campaign being paid off by the Trump campaign with money routed via a law firm is recent news. If true, this potentially would have legal consequences. Let me mention that it is not clear who sexual harassed these women within the Trump campaign. These situations likely do not involve Trump at all. This situation with Trump’s campaign is not pertinent to Cohen’s testimony about paying off Stormy — which he was directly involved with.
But in the bigger picture, that's neither here nor there. Cohen went full throttle and spilled all in his book. It's hard to believe he'd leave out something as scandalous as "there were also millions of dollars payed out to other women" when he was writing it. There's no way. Common sense is common sense.
Most of Delgado’s original allegations came out in 2020 despite them involving the 2016 campaign. The court filings regarding the campaign’s payments to a law firm are very recent (as outlined in the article). This is well after Cohen published his book. It is doubtful that Cohen had any knowledge of these particular payments from the Trump campaign to other women.
Cohen is quite the guy. He goes to prison for perjury amongst other things. And he is out and is petitioning the court to have his parole supervision period reduced or ended. But the judge is pissed that he most likely committed perjury in his petition to the court. Born to lie!!! He needs to watch his arse, he may get sent back for a parole violation. Judge says Michael Cohen may have committed perjury, refuses to end his probation early https://apnews.com/article/michael-...intelligence-82a86dc58a78e43894484b1a12fb850f
?!!!!!..... How can you say it was doubtful?! If it was going on in 2017, Cohen would have known about it and he would have included it in his book. It doesn't matter if the court filings came out recently... or ten years from now. Cohen was in the inner circle at the time. He was Trump's goto boy. If Trump was paying out millions via some law firm, Cohen would have known, and he certainly would have written about it in his book. Case closed.
