No, scheming and plotting to push dogshit candidates like Hillary vs the guy who polled best to beat the demagogue while pissing off huge swaths of your party electorate is how you get majorities in the supreme court. I'll never apologize for wanting more democracy even if it's "dangerous".
It's a good ad for what they have to work with. If you can overlook grandpa talking there hopefully getting ready to tell you why he is endorsing his son or grandson for president. Ya know, it is said everyday that you should never enter a trade without knowing what your exit strategy is. WHAT'S YOUR FRIGGING EXIT STRATEGY WITH BIDEN IF HE IS ELECTED OR EVEN STARTS TO RUN? shakin my head. dems could put a zippier person in and then own the white house for eight years. instead they have launched something that is mess right out of the chute.
It’s sophomoric thinking on your part. Hillary did not lose because there weren’t enough democratic debates. Plenty of debates then bro.
Well the pickings are slim for sure and I do not propose to have an answer for that. Not having any alternatives is how the dems got to this pickle. And the question of who could beat Trump is different than who the dems would nominate. Klobuchar for example could beat Trump- not because she is outstanding- but simply because she is generic enough to solidly capture all of the dem votes out there which is the dems true strength- ie. the massive number of dem voters out there waiting for the ballot harvesters.
Point missed. DNC shenanigans that favored Hillary, left a paper trail to be exploited by Gucciffer et.al. and had Bernie Bros subsequently sit it out is the point of how we get a federalist society SCOTUS (Hillary's shitty campaign notwithstanding). I'm sorry if you didn't see the analogy on how the DNC shielding the incumbent to snub other candidates picking up momentum is how you lose said votes.
You went in a sort of sour direction with that. My point was just that the dems have an aggressive, well-oiled, get out the vote machine so if you can put up just a generically acceptable candidate with a D after their name, lots of votes are going to roll in. That is not true of the republicans. Some irregular, illegal voting here or there is not going to make a difference and their "get out the vote" machine is somewhere between non-existent and a complete joke and as far as I can tell they are doing nothing about it. The big mistake for republicans was not replacing Ronna McRomney with Harmeet Dhillon to head up the RNC. Big mistake.
