Americans are just a violent people. Our incidence rates of murder and assault mirror some of the poorest and unstable countries in the world. We are not only violent to eachother, we’ll get violent on any mf anywhere in the world.

Many people will say it’s a racial thing here but even white people in America commit homicides and assault at much higher rates than our peer countries in the west. Our history is rife with mass murder, gangsters, gangs, mobs, easy access to guns, war, riots. This type of thing doesn’t happen in other countries to anywhere near the frequency in America. Hell we even had a full on battle between organized labor and corporation thugs.

  7. Maybe you and your ilk could get the word out that America is such a violent place instead of telling the world that we are the best place to come for asylum from various places. Yeh, maybe you New Jersey types should start going to Mexico or El Salvador where you can be safe.

Keep importing the unvetted riff raff and allowing invaders to surge into the country. Howz that working out with your issue with America being a violent shit-hole? Your party has worked overtime to make it so.

Here is a map of blue and red voters for President.
Amazing how much the Democrat voters match up to gun crime

Nah violence in America has been an institution from our birth, it’s prenatal even. America was settled by Europeans who had a history of endless war prior to coming to America. When the Europeans came to America we wiped out millions of indigenous peoples. Then we instituted chattel slavery. The revolution through the civil war saw more murder of eachother and the indigenous as we “settled” the west- talk about a euphemism. Reconstruction through world war 2 was even more violence, especially on the former enslaved Americans.

World War II was a turning point for Europe though. Their endless war came to a halt and they instituted social safety nets that reduced violence and increased general wellbeing. We did not. We doubled down on guns and fore went public wellbeing and kept the “rugged individualism” social philosophy.

The 1960s brought about more revolution, 70s urban decay, the 80s saw the birth of the rust belt, the 1990s was the most violent decade in 100 years, and the 2000s brought endless war back.

Short story is we have a toxic mix and a propensity for violence. Why do you think all of you small dick right wingers want a gun? You’re scared as hell of living in America.

Denying it is silly. It’s a major component of who we are as a country.
