I don’t think those are the issues driving this shift actually. I think it’s the bussing of migrants into large city population centers. Trump dominates Biden on immigration and if you dig deep into the polling immigration is rising as a concern among minorities. Second, Biden is picking up college educated voters, +65 voters and suburban white voters. I’m not saying net/net it equals out but if the polling turns into voting we are looking at a major realignment in American politics.
On another note, the bottom of the ticket still counts and vice versa. Nominations like this drive a larger narrative…
Because you're a fucking idiot.Bidens approval rating has been underwater for years now before the bussing migrants became as big an issue as it is. Millions of Blacks and Progressives didn't march in 2020 and vote for Biden for police reform to not be pissed when he stabbed us in the back on the issue dumb ass.
You reading it right. Essentially what Biden and the entire democratic party have done with illegals is say to the black community, this is what we could have done for you, but we decided to do it for them. Why? Because we already own your vote. Bad move in 2024. I don't know much about the black community, but I have known enough black men to know this. They really don't like being punked and they just got punked watching the democrats find billions to help illegals. Even a small shift in this demographic is going to hurt, and it's not going to be all that small. Some will actually vote for Trump, most will just stay home.
I won't deny repugs have effectively weaponized the immigration issue on blacks and 2nd gen minorities (hell, I've seem so called allies do a 180 on this issue here on the board), but it's silly to say blacks were happy with Biden championing cops while millions marched for Floyd. Hispanics care about immigration reform and they've only gotten lip service from dems for 20 yrs. Reform also means enforcement so it doesn't just cut one way w/liberal Hispanics. Gaza is a non starter for either group too I reckon....Both Hispanics and blacks have been on the receiving end of colonialism, even if some Christian sects amongst them try to sell them on zionism. Not to mention black history is peppered w/black Muslim converts of notoriety, Jim crow, segregation, and the plight of Mandela.
He might be open to voting for a dem "woman" though. Quite a few of them have balls to scratch. Not sayin' that is necessarily a good thing.
Two interesting things happened last night… 1. Trump won’t get the 50 state sweep. Vermont entered the chat and has a few things to say. 2. And this…
