I get into the crosstabs as much as I can but the truth is that is what gave the Republicans a false sense of security in 2020. They were “unskewing” the polls and all of that nonsense. Generally, speaking polling is pretty accurate snapshot of public preferences. The biggest problem is that people forget the margin of error factor. The aggregation of the polls isn’t that helpful either when the polls start herding. Theoretically we really should not be seeing every poll with identical results of 2-4%. We should be seeing bigger swings between the polls due to the nature of polling. Anyway, even with that said, we should trust the polls. Even if we are also too far out to make any real predictions for Election Day.
Don't get me wrong, I trust polls mostly and have been arguing Joe's gonna get draxxed despite me voting for the guy this upcoming election. All I'm saying is, that twitter account had polls been going in Biden's favor would curate and find polls that reflected the opposite....as was the case maybe 1.5-2 yrs ago when it first popped up.
Too many people are hyper focused on this stuff and want the election to be tomorrow so they read too deeply into these polls too far out. The truth, based on the most recent polling, it’s a very close race between Biden and Trump with Trump slightly in the lead. We are still heading for a six swing state election that will come down to 3 states and a combined vote difference of 20-40k.
Most people get that. It is the dems who are panicking these days and breathing into a paper bag. Closeness of the polls matters. But direction matters too. Two stocks can each be at 100 but one reached a hundred on the way down and another reached a hundred on the way up. Viewers can decide for themselves which category Biden falls into. And while it is true- and emphasized by every pundit alive ten times a day- that the election is months away, it is also true that the time for replacing Joe without creating an even bigger mess later is almost over. So they are sweating bullets when they read the polls- as they should.
That too. Biden is in the dumps and Dems are tripping right now but it is always darkest before it goes completely black. See them rise, watch them fall.
Finally, the rule of law prevails. It took the US Supreme Court to reverse one obvious instance of judicial abuse by extreme liberal judges in the lower courts. There are many more coming up. Our extreme liberal ET trolls gnashing their teeth and livid, I am sure. Go bury your heads under the sand.
