A candidate knows - or should know- that they have reached the end of the road when articles start appearing with their name and Dan Quayle's name in the same sentence. Yup. Well... this is one perspective. Let's all stop pretending anyone but Trump will be the GOP presidential nominee https://www.salon.com/2023/04/18/le...-anyone-but-will-be-the-presidential-nominee/
Ok. A Federal ban on homelessness. Trump definitely understands the base. He Doesn’t understand policy but neither does the Republican base so it’s a match made in heaven. The end of homelessness brought to you by Donald Trump. Maybe he will build a wall the homeless can’t climb or something. Who knows…
Uncertainty ahead. There are those who say that Ron's tepid entry solidifies Trump. I am not there yet. I think it is blood in the water for those who believe that there will be just Trump and the primary Non-Trump candidate but that it is not a given that Ron will be the Non-Trumper. Trump is way up there in the polls but I expect some mean reversion from his Alvin Bragg bump before long. I can probably figure it all out after another month, and that month will come and go.
