1. Donald Trump is guilty of massive fraud. That is a fact. 2. The size of the penalty fits the size of the fraud. It is clearly spelled out in the ruling. 3. Everyday Americans go broke paying penalties. You want to bend the justice system for Trump, not me. I’ve seen people go down hard for these types of white collar crimes. Trump is getting what he deserves. 4. The courts will consider your past behavior when considering to be flexible. Trump has been one of the worst behaved and unapologetic offenders I have ever seen. He fucked around and now he is finding out. Bonus: Trump represented to the court in deposition he had $400 million in cash. The court has every reason to believe he can pay within 30 days.
No victims in the Trump case. Meanwhile, the bodies of victims of you and your ilk's policies are stacking up daily. Guess which one you are focused on? You need to be deported. And if you try to come back, you will be required to remain in Mexico. Who are you dems going to kill tomorrow? Another day, more bodies. MORE TO COME.
No victims you say, other than the people who do honest business and don’t commit loan fraud. Big fail on your part. Stop watching Fox News for your talking points. You just sound stupid.
Very real possible scenario in the wake of SCOTUS taking up the immunity case. 1. SCOTUS decides absolute presidential immunity. 2. Donald Trump wins the election. That would do “it.”
So if the President has complete immunity to do whatever he pleases then this means that President Biden can simply chuck Donald Trump into Gitmo and cancel the election. Remember the President has complete immunity from his crimes, eh.
No one is suggesting that presidents have complete immunity GXB. Rather, presidents have broad immunity. They don't have complete immunity as they can be impeached and convicted.
The President only has immunity when doing things within his role and powers of the Presidency. Bank robbery would not be among his normal duties.. Making sure the elections have integrity would be under the role of a President
Just keep doing what you are doing. Because if you and your ilk want to see Donald J. Trump elected again then you are doing all the right things.
So you are claiming that Trump attempting an insurrection to seize power is "within his role and powers of the Presidency". Well I have news for you, it is not. it is a crime and Trump has no immunity from prosecution for his crimes. If Trump does have immunity for his crimes then every President can ignore the law at will.
