  2. This is the world the woke ones have brought us. Woman has 60 years of selfless service. But then kicked to the curb just because she cannot figure out what the hell the lefties are talking about. Where the hell has she been for 60 years if she does not know about this pronoun cult. Oh, I see. Off helping people. Nevermind.

Looks like Manchin has officially dropped out. Was he ever in?

Manchin to Forgo 2024 Run That Posed Threat to Biden, Trump

West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin will announce that he is foregoing a 2024 presidential run, after speculation that he would present a centrist alternative to President Joe Biden and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, according to a person familiar.

A Democrat-turned-independent, Manchin was the decisive vote on some of Biden’s most significant legislative accomplishments but blocked many others. But the 76-year-old senator flirted with a potential bid that threatened to divide independent and third-party vote and could have played a spoiler role if he took more votes from Biden than from Trump, who are headed toward a likely general election rematch.

Joe has done this type of thing for years. He likes to wander around in the woods for a while and contemplate whether or not the universe revolves around him, then he finds his way home.

  8. The landscape has shifted quite a bit in the last couple weeks. Manchin talks a good story about not wanting to split the vote and all of that and take votes away from Biden that will help Trump etc, etc.

The real story is that in the last couple weeks the calls for and expectations that Joe will go at some point have reached critical mass. So one of the bedrock foundations for Manchin/any third party type was built upon the idea that they would be a good alternative to both Trump and Biden.

Now they worry bigtime- and rightfully so- that they could get in, and then off in the spring or even at the last minute- Joe would get switched out for some spiffy candidate- Newsom, Whitmer, whatever- who still bears the democrat party label and is does not have Biden issues.

Biden is really a prick and has them all in a pickle, as discussed. He should just step down from another run and clear the field for a throw together primary or at least some months of campaigning by other candidates running without Biden in the mix. Instead, his staff and bootlickers are telling him repetitively that he has accomplished more than any other president in history and is a true action figure, and Joe is lapping it right up.

    WHAT A FRIGGING MESS.

  9. Without refuting any of that, I think that Joe is somewhat sincere when he argues that, unless you are a progressive, it is increasingly hard for any dem to find their way home to the party these days. Those differences are real for many dems now.

Example, yesterday the House reversed Biden's ban on exporting LNG. The Senate may kill it, but either way, Biden says he will veto it. Manchin will not be on board with that. That is the nutty dem party that Manchin does not like and Manchin is closer to Americans than Democrats on those issues.

  10. Looks like Fani and Lover Boy are going to skate.

The judge is up for re-election in the fall, and he shares the same Fulton County voting base with Fani and cannot afford to alienate them.

The Georgia AG could still intervene and replace Lover Boy aside from what the judge does based on "appearances" and "best interests of the people" stuff. Lover Boy is pretty stupid to be trying to take on a RICO case.
