That's all well and good, but I think you have misread this one. ---Folks across the country are actually rejecting Liberal/Progressive policies, not wanting more of them.
Yet Obama and Biden won when promising them. Obama wasn't progressive enough and millions of progressives stayed home in 2012,luckily for him blacks were able to make up for the progressives that didn't vote for him in 2012. Biden didn't keep his progressive promises now has approval ratings are lower than Trumps and West and Stein are polling around 5%. If 5% doesn't sound like a lot Nader got 2.7% in 2000 and Stein got 1% in 2016.
Biden did not implement progressive policies. Obama wasn't progressive enough and lost millions of progressive votes in 2012 .It took Biden promising to be far more progressive than Obama to win in 2020.
Biden was much more popular when he was promising police reform,no oil drilling, student loan cancellation, free state college,15.00 min wage, higher taxes on the rich, medicare option for all and teased expanding The SC than he is now.
Duh!!! Polling shows he’s lost significant traction with part of that core base, including young voters.
