  3. You used that same line with Buy1 earlier today.

Is that the only script you got from the DNC?

I am placing you on my rather extensive ignore list for failing to meet the rather low intelligence requirements for posting.

    Be well.

  4. Judge bans 10 GOP lawmakers from reelection after walking out to block Dem vote

Oregon's highest court has ruled that 10 Republican state senators who staged a weeks-long walkout in protest of the Democratic majority's policy agenda will not be allowed to run for another term.

According to the Oregonian, the ruling stemmed from the application of a statewide ballot initiative dubbed Measure 113, which voters approved in the 2022 elections. Measure 113 stipulates that any state legislator who misses 10 floor sessions without permission or excuse will be banned from serving a subsequent term.

In their arguments, five Republicans — Daniel Bonham, Lynn Findley, Minority Leader Tim Knopp, Dennis Linthicum and Suzanne Weber — argued that the "plain language" of the initiative states that they would still be allowed to seek one more term.

However, judges disagreed, saying Measure 113 is understood to immediately disqualify any lawmaker from reelection after 10 missed sessions without excuse.

Voters overwhelmingly approved Measure 113 by a 68-31 margin in response to Republicans frequently staging walkouts in protest of various Democratic-sponsored bills concerning issues like gun reform and reproductive rights.

After the ruling, the Oregonian reported that at least one of those Republicans' districts could be flipped, as Knopp's district has more registered Democrats than Republicans.

Just want to drop in with a quick reality check because Biden supporters are all giddy because one or 2 extreme outlier polls has him ahead.

Head to head Trump is ahead in 8 polls

Biden is ahead in 2 :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Even in 2020 a poll occasionally had Trump ahead

  9. 'We're reaping what we sow': Trump's ex-aide says he'll be too broke to beat Biden

"He's entering the general election not with the money he needs to win," she said.

    The blame game is widespread.

"So we are reaping what we're sowing here," Griffin added.

"The fault does lie with other elected Republicans for actually saying these cases were witch hunts," she said. "For not coming out and telling the God's honest truth that he mishandled classified documents or the truth about January 6."

The mere fact that the candidate could become a convict should weigh hard on those lawmakers who Griffin blames for enabling the ex-president.

  10. 'Donald Trump appears to be psychotic' as pressure overwhelms him: psychiatrist

According to a former clinical professor of psychiatry at the George Washington University Medical Center, a combination of age and the pressures Donald Trump is facing as he attempts to fend off multiple criminal indictments not only makes him dangerous — he's also close to a mental collapse.

In an interview with Salon's Chauncey DeVega, Dr. Justin Frank, author of "Trump on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President," bluntly stated "Donald Trump appears to be psychotic" after reflecting on recent outbursts during the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial that led to a stunning $83.3 million damage award.

Asked about what is going on with the former president who is being swamped by the onslaught of court cases, Frank suggested any vestige of a civil veneer Trump may have projected is long gone, and people are seeing him for who he truly is.

"From the time Trump was five years old, he hated rules and couldn't control himself. If Trump didn't like something, he would convert feelings into immediate action. He threw rocks at a toddler who lived next door when he was five. He punched out his second-grade teacher because he got mad at him. As a father, Trump knocked out his son, Don Jr., when he was in high school because he wasn't dressed appropriately," Frank recalled before adding, "Trump has always been like this."

"As people age, they generally do not change; they instead become more of their true selves," he further explained. "His capacity for self-restraint is becoming a thinner veneer over fundamental destructiveness. He is increasingly no longer able to fake it. This is why Trump is in court acting out, mumbling, being angry and disruptive."

After expressing concerns over a Rolling Stone report on the copious amounts of drugs that were dispensed by the Trump White House's pharmacy, including ketamine that is "used to treat severe depression," Frank expressed alarm at Trump's decline.

"Trump is extremely dangerous. Trump does not believe in laws and rules. He wants to be a lawless dictator. This is why I continue to share my conclusion, based on the evidence, that Donald Trump appears to be psychotic," he said.

"He is a person who is detached from reality. Even with the trials and other pressures, Trump is not capable of breaking down, of being cowed and/or broken. If anything, Trump will go down in flames if he goes down at all. Trump is an extreme narcissist who will destroy anyone who has ever done anything to hurt him, to oppose him, or defy him."
