Election 2024 Foreplay

  1. That would be Rumsfeldian and I say only that Rumsfeldian factors will impact this election bigtime. I expect the unexpected without becoming married to any particulat one. Could be Trump is not on the ballot, or that Joe is not or that both are on the ballot and a third party percentage biter too. Could be an assasination. Could be yet another war. Could be a switch out on Kamala. etc.

Nikki is going to have a very good time for the next month. She will come in second ahead of Desantis in Iowa. And probably ahead of Trump by a few hundred votes in NH. Ironically I think some Trump voters- not many but some young ones- will vote for Vivek and he will do better than expected even if lower down in the pack. NH voters massively value independent thinkers or like to reward it even if it is just a small bone tossed to a candidate.

That's the good news for Nikki. The bad news is that her path forward from NH is not clear. Still a very, very, very steep climb. And Trump wants Kristi Noem as VP, not Nikki. She has a shot at vp on No Labels ticket if Manchin runs. If Larry Hogan or Huntsman or Romney run should would have no interest. Those three are low testosterone losers.

  2. Chris Christie.

Tried to take the high road for once in his life. But ended out on the low road again.

It's who he is. Ya cannot not put lipstick on that pig.

    Oink, oink.

Not so grown up: Chris Christie’s cranky exit
The former New Jersey governor tried to be 2024’s adult in the room.

  3. Nikki - Ronnie debate was painful to watch and listen too....like watching 3rd and 4th placed teams in a contest pretend to be relevant.

Tree who is this Dean Phillips guy from MN? Bill Ackman (cnbc interview this AM) says he's gaining momentum in the NH polls. He's a Dem. 3 term Congressman. Ackman said he's a very appealing candidate. He also said Biden has to go. When asked if he'd vote for Trump over Biden, he said he'd make that call when the time comes. If it comes. That surprised me, you would think he'd have replied with a strong "no".

CNN's was focused on President Donald Trump all the time that the US and UK were bombing the Houthis. You would think that would be the more important news? They just want to keep slandering President Donald Trump at every chance they get. These people are sick in the head.

  6. He is looking for a position in a Manchin-Haley cabinet at this point.

  7. One thing I have noticed about Nikki is that she does better in debates than in townhalls and extended venues where he has the entire floor- in my view. She keeps it short when she has to in a debate but you give her too much time or the entire floor and she starts seriously flapping her gums and her arms excessively. Gets to be too much I think. Many lawyers have that problem in court. You give em some extra time and they think they need to put extra filler in there. She is obviously doing well in townhalls too. Just sayin, she can get ultra chatty and verbal if you giver her too much rope. Actually her buddy Sununu is the same way. He can flap on at length and go over the top of the bell curve too.

  8. Yep, and as I said, if Michelle wants to walk on stage and try to head up a ticket in the midst of that reckoning that is going on, SIGN ME UP TO WATCH THAT.

She is not going to sign up for having been beaten by Trump or any democrat on her resume. But we are headed toward a contested convention that is tailor made for her to game the whole country for the free circus attention she will get. So no one should put any headlines up my arse about her saying she "will do what she needs to do to save this country." Nope, that's baked in.

  9. Axelrod out there again bashing Biden bigtime and trying to get him out of the race bigtime.

He would not be doing that without direct orders or at least stated approval from Camp Obama.

  10. She also seems unable to go off script and just talk...everything is a cliche or repeated talking point a la Hillary or Klobucher
