Not sure if Tubby knows what he is doing here. His comments benefit Haley but he is deluded enough to think that it will drive voters to his camp as a way of fending off Trump. That dog don;t hunt. His comment also puts him in a position where there is no reason why he would not drop out after NH if Trump wins then. Except he keeps declaring that he is in to the end. Fat slob needs to drop out and take his 24 hours of fame rather than make hostage videos as he did after the last time Trump trounced him Christie says Trump will be GOP nominee if former president wins New Hampshire Christie says Trump will be GOP nominee if former president wins New Hampshire (msn.com)
Didn't you say Dems can vote in the GOP primary there? If that's the case, I bet Nikki wins NH. It won't be Christie, that's for sure. Maybe he's trying to help Nikki and get a veep slot.
So this Wall Street Journal article states exactly what I said and the factual articles I referenced outlined. In the limited amount of information about Nevada in this WSJ article it states that Trump did not file for the Nevada primary by the deadline -- and his MAGA supporters demanded they hold a caucus instead of a primary -- and now all the GOP voters are confused about which one to vote in.
Quite so. I made some comments on that in a post to El Concho a day or two ago, to wit below: As I said the other day, Haley is going to pick up a pile of independent ("uncommitted voters" they call em in NH) as a consequence of the dems cancelling their primary in NH. The dems/biden included think that they are going to train them all to do write-in's for Biden. Nope. That dog don't hunt. Some extremely hard core Bidenistas migh. Otherwise forget it. Yet you will have lots of independents who still want to be involved in the process and are pissed at the DNC/Biden for stripping them of their first in the nation primary status. So if you see a good turnout for independents- any turnout by them in fact- they are going to vote for a pub acknowledging that there will be some write-ins. And if they are moderate dem/independent types, they are going to vote for Haley. Not Trump. Duh. Not to beat this to death, but I hear Biden/the Dems talking about how everyone needs to learn how to vote by write-in and get out there to do it. But the little indignity they may experience is that there may be many write-in votes for a dem- but a dem other than Biden. Yeh, that could happen. Plenty of the New Hamshire dems are looking to make a statement to Joe about being robbed of their primary.
Think Christie would do the VP gig, or is that "below" him? He would be tough on crime. And immigration.
Oh, he would do it in a nano-second if offered. Like, what else does he have to do? But there is less than zero chance that anyone would offer that to him for real. I mean, Nikki might hint around at it by telling him that he could have a future with her, if he dropped out. And then give him the ambassadorship to Crapistan if he drops out before the nh primary and she ultimately wins. Otherwise, no presidential candidate wants that obnoxious slob anywhere near their ticket. This is his second run for President and he is a proven non-vote-getter. He could do better than ambassador to Crapistan, maybe Homeland Security Secretary, but he would have to drop out and then campaign hard for Haley for the rest of the campaign. No one is going to toss the dog a bone unless he delivers something somewhere. He is strong on the trail and with media and is pithy so he could sell someone else quite well. But not himself. That is what he never understood. He thinks that turning people away from Trump turns them to him. Nope.
