Weak ratings. Trump is riding his horse backwards to the nomination and these idiots are afraid to bring it to him.

    Hey Tree...
    Here's some food for thought.
Now I know Hillary was popular among many suburban housewives... but women are funny when it comes to other women. It occurred to that over Thanksgiving, I heard two historically Republican/swing women say "they don't like Nikki". For fun yesterday I asked another friend's wife, and she said "I hate her" or "I can't stand her." Something to that effect.

It's interesting. These are all fairly affluent soccer-mom types fwiw.
We need a bigger sample, but I have a feeling women may not like her. For whatever reason.

well, consider the purpose of propaganda and lies achieved; per article:

There does not appear to be any U.S. government program that gives undocumented migrants $5,000 gift cards.
A spokesperson for U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Newsweek via phone on Thursday that no gift cards came from the agency.

Newsweek reached out for comment to the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement via email on Thursday.

According to right-wing newspaper The Epoch Times
, Lamb heard about the supposed gift card exchange from "close sources" at the border, telling the outlet that he was "absolutely in shock when these agents came forward" with the news.

While the U.S. government does offer funding support to some charities and other non-governmental organizations that aid migrants, it is not clear that any of the organizations are issuing those crossing the U.S.-Mexico border with $5,000 gift cards.

Lamb is seeking the Republican nomination to replace Arizona's Democrat-turned-independent Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
His chief Republican rival in the race is former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, while Democratic U.S. Representative Ruben Gallego has also declared his candidacy.

Like Lake, Lamb is a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump's false claims that the 2020 presidential election was "stolen" by massive voter fraud.
He has been dubbed the "QAnon Sheriff" by some, referring to the far-right conspiracy theory that claims Trump is fighting a secret war against blood-drinking Democrats.

  5. While you are here, I will ask you to note that Hunter just got a HUGE dose of the MORE TO COME that you always scoffed at. And your scoffing was Exhibit A of HOW REAL INFORMATION gets suppressed online.

    More to come.

  6. Some of what you are encountering is a reflection of factors that are known to be at play. ie. Trump has gained on the suburban woman vote. One of the reasons- my view- is that society is at risk overall and people concerns have fallen lower on the Maslow Need Hierarchy, many voters who were concerned about "self-actualization" a few years ago are now obsessed with safety and security, and biologically that causes them to turn more toward a Neanderthal male or Barbarian to protect the tribe. Not a UN Ambassador who said she was inspired to enter politics by Hillary Clinton.

In addition, suburban women got burned by progressive and moderate women who they thought would "empower" women, but instead they have worked to erase and dilute the category of "women." Again, although men do not get much good press, probably for good reasons, they have their uses when society is collapsing from external and internal threats. Nikki could only prevail in that environment if she could elevate herself all the way from RINO up to Golda Meir or Margaret Thatcher. Quite a stretch, especially with no priory history of that.

The other thing is that, just speaking generically when we observe that lots of people don't like her and have reservations, I mean why would that not be true, of Nikki, of Trump, of Desantis, of Christie, and Vivek too? She doesnt really have a lock on anything or any segment. And the Haley "surge" is, when you look at the data, just one or two points wiggling above and/or below Desantis. It is only noteworthy because it presses on prior assumptions about Desantis, which I understand, but nevertheless is not all that interesting or eventful given Trump's lead.

Having said all that, I remain, as always Rumsfeldian in my outlook on the general election and expect the unexpected. If (example only-not limited to) say No Labels put up a Manchin- Haley ticket, then there would be a whole lot of people at both the DNC and the RNC working their calculators. Bobby is already causing them to do that. We have kneejerkers here who immediatley launch into the "they cannot win" routine which is kind of irritating to have to see such stupidity. It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with Pub and Dem nominees only being separated by a percentage point or two and then some outlier group suddenly takes 10-20 points and puts the whole enchilada into recalibration mode.

Just earlier today CNN asked Obama's chief strategist/pollster (not Axelrod) what keeps him awake at night in regard to the dems. He said it was not Biden, it was a third party. Yup. keep worrying.

In regard to the women and their views, that can be properly understand by examining the chart below. We are another four years lower on the hierarchy.

I think someone is overdue for some remedial "gender neutral" training.
    Turn yourself in immediately.

  8. Clearly I am failing.

I pointed out to a woman the other day that "apparently it takes a real man to succeed in women's sports these days."

I don't think that was a winning comment.

Trump ahead in 9 of the last 11 RCP polls

Biden ahead in 1 of the last 11 RCP polls

In 2008,2012,2016 and 2020 the popular vote loser was never up in 9 of the last 11 RCP polls at any point.

Biden was up +9.8 at this point in 2019,now Trump is up 2.1

The 3-5 point slave states EC edge not factored in.The 5 points Stein/West will take not factored in.
