Election 2024 Foreplay

  1. That 18-29 demographic is a tough one for Biden these days even though he thinks that is his "go-to" base. There are a lot of blacks/hispanics in that range who are leaving the dems and now a lot of pro-Hamas-anti-Israel young idiots who are pissed off at Biden for the Israeli conflict. Then on top of that a significant number are leaning toward Bobby Jr.

He may lose even more to Manchin too.

Other than that, everything is fine with the youth vote.

"The poll shared Kennedy’s appeal among Americans under 45, indicating that 34% of registered voters aged 18 to 29 support him for president."

  2. Well, of course, minorities are not "done" with Biden.

But the days of total control of the minority vote are done, done.

And the dems have traditionally needed the whole minority vote to get over the line, in many/.most places.

Minority Americans Are Done With Biden: ‘Liberal Politicians Have Let Down My Community’

Former NFL player Wallace Gilberry announced his candidacy as a Republican for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, aiming to challenge President Biden and liberal Democrats’ influence on the Black community.

He emphasizes the need to prioritize Alabama’s interests, support Trump’s agenda, and create opportunities beyond sports for young men.

Gilberry’s conservative views and criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement and transgender participation in sports define his political approach.

  3. Y'all will recall that Obama said: "Never underestimare Joe's ability to fuck things up."

I gotta admit I underestimated him here. Usually when there is a difficult decision and side with one of the parties you at least get their support. But Joe's administration has sided with Hamas and Jews are understandably pissed.

Meanwhile, Muslims are abandoning Joe left and right.

Wayyy to go Joe. Obama gave us the warning. Actually, Robert Gates, former Defense Secretary gave us an early warning. He said that (keep in mind he worked for both Pub and Dem administrations) that Obama put him on the ticket for his foreign policy expertise, but Biden "has been wrong about every foreign policy decision in the last 50 years." Yeh, that's the Joe we are seeing with his handling of Israel. WITH MORE TO COME.

Muslim Americans face 'Abandon Biden' dilemma - then who?

(Reuters) - Muslim American leaders from six battleground states on Saturday vowed to mobilize their communities against President Joe Biden's reelection over his support of Israel's war in Gaza, but they have yet to settle on an alternative 2024 candidate.

The states are among a handful that allowed Biden to win the 2020 election. Opposition from their sizeable Muslim and Arab American communities could complicate the president's path to Electoral College victory next year.

"We don't have two options. We have many options," Jaylani Hussein, director of Minnesota's Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) chapter, said at a press conference in Dearborn, Illinois when asked about Biden alternatives.

Fwiw.... they are saying Jewish Americans, apparently Dems historically, are all switching teams to Trump.

    Interesting development. Makes sense though.

  6. Interesting yes and other developments arise too even if Jews do not go over to Trump. One is just a poor turnout by dems/jews in NY.....sort of a "I can't stomach Trump but I sure as hell can't stomach Biden either"...kind of impact.

Another scenario would be where they go with Nikki Haley who is pro-Israel without a lot of trying to please Hamas mixed in with it. Just sayin she is playing that card and probably it will get some traction in unexpected places. The overall picture though is that the Israeli conflict is not a winner for Joe, at least the way he is playing it. And there will still be American hostages at election time. Old Jimmy Carter probably prayed that he would not die as the worst president in modern history, and the Lord definitely answered that prayer. Thank you Joe Biden.

You know there is only one extreme liberal progressive waiting in the wings who the Democrat Party will embrace. That is Gavin Newsom. They will want all of California's huge electoral votes and extreme liberal progressives will dig deep in their pockets to support him. If they ditch Biden, it will be Newsom. I could be wrong of course, but I feel 99.9% Newsom would be it. Now, will the Jewish Democrats support him? Is he for Israel or Hamas? I think he might be for Hamas but, may say he supports Israel to get the votes and monies from the Jews. Looks like I was right. Posted this before I saw this article. This clown really knows how to reel them all in.

  9. Not sure Jim Clyburn would be out there delivering the black vote if Biden goes down and they replace him with whitey-tighty, metrosexual Newsom rather than Kamala.

So Newsom would have that to deal with as well. And that is a sizeable problem. Of course having Kamala heading up the ticket would be disaster and even trying to get rid of her would be a disaster too unless you brought in a functioning black as VP.

The way the dems would get Newsom in would be to wait until after most of primaries and then Joe drops out - maybe someone gives him enough cash in the background. Then, since there are no other dem candidates or just some weirdos with a couple electoral votes, the DNC releases all the electoral votes for Biden and tells the states that they/their electors are free to vote their conscience on any proposed candidates. Then they all vote for Newsome, or many do anyway.

That scenario involves a lot of "ifs." But you can't rule out the possibility that Joe will spin down and out for various reasons between now and election day which would create that scenario. After a couple more weeks, almost all of the states will be closed to new candidates getting on the ballot. Already there as a practical matter. And a year is a long time for someone in Joe's condition. I can't remember but I think the Electoral College meets in the third week in December, give or take.

Of course, given a free hand, they could just elect Hillary too. WHEEEEEEE!!! was that necessary???
