Yeah, maybe. Or, that lady wasn’t up for the scrutiny. Whichever. Same result. What I will say is that there does a come a point when people like Scott know they aren’t going to win but stay in because the fund raising blows out anything they would do at the Senate level. Which incentivizes them to keep the charade going. https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...se-to-6m-in-third-quarter-of-fundraising/amp/
Yeh well, whenever a candidate says they are "suspending" their campaign rather than "ending" their campaign that's a flag that says they are not going to be returning any funds and that it will become an annuity for other ventures. There are a lot of games. I noted another one the other day wherein it was reported that No Labels structured itself and its filing as a "non-profit" rather than as a "political party" so that they do not need to disclose their donors. Yeh, the beltway never sleeps. New scam every week.
Dems, most likely you- or at least some of you- are beginning to realize that Biden is not just a loser who is putting the party at risk by not stepping down, BUT THAT he is also actively being a prick who has poisoned the well even if he steps down at some point. There is sort of a narrative or cover for Joe that says if he steps down and someone else runs and loses then that is all on them - not Joe. No, the dem party has a pile of candidates who are willing to run, and he has deprived all of them of a proper chance to initiate and develop their campaigns- such that if Joe steps down it will a chaotic and bloody mess between the ones who have to duke it out in a compressed period late into the process. In addition, Joe has already conducted himself in a way that has brought all these third party actors on to the scene and they are not going away and will only have a feeding frenzy if Joe steps down. None of them will win but they can keep any candidate from reaching 270 electoral votes. Very easily. Yeh, Joe is no longer just an old duffer who dragged his feet in a sleepy way in regard to stepping down. He is an outright prick who has damaged the party regardless of whether he stays or goes. Joe will be on the beach in Delaware, either way. No worries on his part. You guys had your little fun with Joe, Kamala, and Jim Clyburn. Now your chickens have come home to roost. Joe is okay. Plenty of Chinese cash still coming in. The Dems? Less than okay. Not to worry though. Big flap coming up with Speaker Mike and the budget process. Just stick your head up his arse for a while, as is your way, and make all the Biden problems go away for a couple weeks. I mean, you have no other plan than to whistle past the graveyard, right?
Spoiler alert: Your guess is correct. They are now supporting Haley. Two major GOP donors who backed Tim Scott have picked whom they will support next https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...6?cvid=7d0b1f90cced44faaeb12ee9131cf894&ei=36
Not many dems interested in this type of thing, but, whatever, it's his campaign not mine. And when you see the republican losers he would appoint, ain't no republican interested either. Keep in mind that this clown is running as a democrat, not third party. I would just be happy to see the dems not appoint anyone wearing a suicide vest or who steals women's underwear while on the job. That would be a step in the right direction. Getting goofy out there now. Dean Phillips Vows To Appoint Republicans To Cabinet Dean Phillips Vows To Appoint Republicans To Cabinet (msn.com)
