  2. All of these polls are good news for Trump and he is well justified in basking in that glory.

The problem with them, though, is that- ultimately- Joe Biden will not be the nominee.

    Which makes polling problematic.

That is not necessarily a loaded comment against Trump. It could easily increase his lead even more if Kamala or Newsom replace Biden. Just sayin there are unknowns ahead.

So much makeup. Between the weirdo haircut and wearing makeup everyday, I don’t understand how people don’t see there is something very wrong with Trump. Normal men don’t do this type of stuff.

    1. the White House chief of staff explained to Trump he lost is very credible evidence against Trump.

    2. it speaks to his mens rae or as you put it “what he believed.

    3. It truly depends on which crime he is “behind bars” for. Insurrection or rebellion would constitute disqualification under the 14th amendment.

    4. Can a president pardon himself, I kind of doubt it. Does the office insulate him from prosecution while he is in office, maybe. It’s complicated. Theoretically Trump can hand the presidency to the VP for a short period, who can pardon Trump for federal crimes, then return the powers to Trump.

    5. No. The constitution does not allow for federal pardoning of violations of state laws. Think about all of these abortion laws that have just been passed in the various states. Biden cannot just start pardoning people at the state level. Imagine the chaos.

    Tree,

If I were running the GOP's ad-spend platform for 2024 in these swing states... man oh man...

There is sooo much low hanging fruit that will bring out independent voters in droves.

I mean I hate to be the type that endorses fearmongering as a political tool. and yes I know it has been used forever it would seem.... but this time around, I would hit the airwaves with both barrels.

What has happened in Israel and what is going on down on our boarder, pffff..... there is so much material there to make an ad campaign that would go down in history as the greatest ---->"I've had enough... I may despise many of their other policies, but this time around,,, I'm voting the GOP ticket." <-------

I predict we are gonna see a clean sweep in 2024. House, Senate, Exec.

  8. Yep. The whole landscape of "independent" voters has changed so much over the years, that it is a massive study in and of itself to track who they are and what they are up to.

Years ago, an independent voter was someone who basically was a flip flopper or someone who could not commit or belong to the American Frutis and Nuts Party of something. Not that way anymore. The number of Americans who self-identify as "independent" equals the two major parties combined. AND, although independent used to mean that they were less left or right leaning massive numbers of them now are independent because they are even more left or right leaning and are disgusted with their own party. So you may think that you have all of these "independents" who are on the fence but in fact many/most are already locked into some version of the dem or pub spectrum. Myself being Exhibit A. I am an independent but your chances of getting me over into Camp Biden are less than zero. I have in fact voted dem in many primaries in earlier years, but that was because I was a Democrat. Times have changed since then.

Biden got problems. I will tell ya one area where I am beginning to adjust my thinking a little. I have said a couple times that I thought he will withdraw sometime between Thanksgiving and Feb 1. But probably I am giving him too much credit. I figured that that is as late as he could go without incurring the wrath of the Dem Party. If he left later, then it would give other candidates no chance to develop campaigns and that the process of replacing him would be a DNC insider, chaotic mess. I see now though that I am probably projecting on to him what he should do rather than what he will or could do. The fucker is clueless and oblivious to everything around him and would not hesitate to leave much later so that he does not become a lame duck candidate- regardless of how damaging it is. I still believe that he will not be the nominee. I just think the process will be or could much uglier. This guy shows no smarts or grace anywhere.

It could be credible evidence but it's meaningless in a fair justice system. If he testifies that he told Trump that he lost, it in no way means that Trump believed that he lost. If Trump believed he lost is the key and in a fair justice system, that will be extremely difficult to prove. --Unless there is a recording of him saying, I know I lost, but I will continue to try and change results.
