Are they eating canned moist catfood? Or the dry by the 50lb bag? The latter is inexpensive i agree, gotta buy in bulk, but the former is more expensive than filet mignon by weightt
Reaver wrote.... No, the government needs to stay the fuck out of our day to day lives like they are supposed to be doing as outlined in the Constitution.... Ol Dubya's got the price of oil so high over this dumbass WMD/Hussein business no one can afford it, but he is gonna walk right off his presidential podium and right back into his oil business. No, we don't need to regulate shit, we need to vote for people who aren't gonna support this pork barrel BS and garbage regulation and spending programs while the whole time they're taxing us to the stone age and sending our troops all over the world chasing ghosts. ............................................................................................... The amount above $50 per barrel should become known as the Bush Cheney Oil Tax. It is absolutely incredible the damages that these two have caused to countries all over the world. What is even more incredible is that they are going to walk. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Exactly, God only knows how much Dubya's family biz has made with him as the President...and Cheney too...good thing he'll (Cheney) probably die soon at least because of his bad ticker. We always have that to lean on in hard times.
no, what we need are reasonable welfare/entitlement programs. Not everyone is a genius millionaire trader like you. There is always going to be a proportion of the population that needs additional help in their lives. Humane policy dictates that we take into consideration their special needs and spend accordingly.
Guys guys guys, the original post is simply a reader's OPINION letter. There are no facts behind it. Clearly the letter writer is from the Left who Hates America and Emboldens Our Enemies LOL. Now, back to our $100 oil lol.
3 questions: 1) Shouldn't the terrorists bear some of the blame for high oil prices? 2) What is the name of Bush's oil company that he owns which is benefitting from higher oil prices? 3) Since one of the basic tenants of economic theory is the concept of "supply and demand", if we increased the supply, the price should fall (i.e. drilling off the coast of Fl - where I live, or in parts of Alaska where we are now prohibited because the animals may develop "psychological problems"). So, wouldn't increased supply bring the price down? Right now, the demand is increasing, while the supply is diminishing. Not looking to start yet another poster war with any of you, just looking for honest, civil responses. (I know, asking a lot around here).
1. What did the terrorists do to increase the price of oil? Do you mean the ones that didn't exist in Iraq before we went over there, or the ones that we have created because we did go over there? Simplistic answer, I know, but I am referring to the fact that that is what everyone says "oh the terrorists did this" blah blah blah. It ain't that simple. This is all fear based price increase. 2. Please take a few moments and read into Bush's background for yourself. The answers will come to you if you really want to know them and are not trying to argue. 3. I don't want to get rude about it, but you are watching way too much CNN and Anderson Cooper in my opinion. Really dig in and read about some of this and you'll see that what everyone is being told is BS.
