Not by any means true. Some of the biggest spikes and trends have no real 'fundamental' cause.

  3. Agreed. The price of oil reflects the loose money floating around and nothing to do with the demand/supply. After all, that's why we have the commodity markets now, its true intent (or was it) is lost and all there is to it is a casino for the few to make money off the back of others.

  4. And if the US did support Mubarek, it would give fuel to all the radicals in the region. Anything the US does or does not do is reason for the radicals to hate it.

  7. It is a popular rising and if you dont know, Egyptians mostly liberals.

We were ruled by a dictator for 30 years and egyptians as any other people want freedom, justice and democracy.

The question is do you support this right for all the world or only for certain people? If you as expected want freedom, justice and democracy for all, so you should support the free egyptians who are seeking democracy.

Absolutely. I wish there was some way the people of the US could collectively send a message to the middle east 'we support you in your fight for democracy and freedom'
