Egypt: Mubarak Worth More Than $70 Billion

The U.S. doesn't PUT them into power. They rise to power and we back they because the alternative is worse. Like FDR said about Samozo, "He's a son of a bitch but he's our son of a bitch".

 

That money should stay with Egypt, not the US

 

The alternative is worse for the US, not necessarily for the people of that country.

 

would any other country act differently if they had the power? I really don't think so. We're not angels obviously. When in doubt, we're going to do what's right for the US
