  2. no change in history has ever happened with out some sort violence and death.

the Egyptian President why don't he just resign NOW..why wait? so his secret police or death squards can kill the protesters?

reason he doesn't want to resign is he mostly likely get killed or arrested if he does resign. crimes against the state. trials.

The muslim brotherhood aren't that big in Eygpt
Its just westerners that are making them seem bigger because they are afraid of anything with muslim in its name.
The Eygptians just want an end to the total corruption that goes from top to bottom of society.

Depends on where you live. If you have the misfortune to live in one of US's shithole cities. Yes, it will be tough sledding. Otherwise, you'll probably fare okay as there are still a lot of good areas in USA. Also, there is no impetus for a popular uprising at this point as you are witnessing in Egypt and other areas. US is probably one of the safest places to be except for the hellholes, which can be avoided if you plan ahead.

Would the US government step as lightly as the Egyptian government has, thus far?

Im sure in the rural areas of any country you'd be isolated, but in the more densely populated areas it would be a different story...
