yep, he has been around...since years ago. He and raschke wrote alot about the same stuff. I spoke with Angell in the 90's by phone when he was selling his LSS software. He got into some kind of trouble but really had some great trade ideas. I wonder whatever happened to him. Anyway, just wonering if you knew him or his whereabouts.

  3. If you think that's a joke, you're completely clueless of the pecking order and rules within the order microstructure, and how your competition uses it to stay steps ahead. I doubt you'll ever make a dime in this business if you think you're gonna handjob your way into the order queue. No offense. Just stating the realities.

It is called FACTS, but why should anyone bother with such trivial things :)

Once again, more "useless trader talk".

Can you point us to the supporting stats, as I am certain that you will have some of the big players contacting you to throw money at you.

Fact is, there are no such stats available, just try and prove me wrong.

  6. i believe Digital is speaking about the inherent advantage of order speed and other structural advantages unavailable to all but the most capitalized players --- there is substantial evidence that this edge exists.

Can he, you, or anyone else supply details of same, as I have not seen any such evidence to date?

  8. I believe some can be found here www.nanex.net but isn't it just horse sense that the faster ones order can reach the exchange, the greater the advantage over other orders trying to get the same price?

Do you know where exactly, as all I can see is sales pitch stuff.

Are there any stats to show that what they say is actually achievable, if they even say such a thing?

From my research, no major trading company will touch any system without a minimum of 3 years results, and some even insist on no back testing results, which makes the available list very small indeed.

Reason is simple, in that, if someone had such a system, they would not be selling it to anyone, for any money.

Amazing how common sense seems to go out the window in the big world of easy money!

  10. Of course there is evidence. It's right in front of us. Try and place a limit order at the first visual sign of a fast moving market manually, then go back to the time & sales window and look at the multiple orders that got filled ahead of yours at better prices. This is how programs shift the risk to slower, less resourceful (or knowledgeable) players. They'll still make money (at higher win rates) or break even within the smallest move, while you're waiting for a much larger one. it's no longer a chart watching game at micro level. It's the age of speed and data.
