Well, if the deal doesn't go through, I'll lose a quick $5/share.

 

the easier trade was HPQ short which i blew hard.

i should have just held my finger on the freaking button.

trading is the strangest profession. you have what would be a great day in the eyes of 99% of the world but i end up being angry that i didn't make more.

robbie did you miss HPQ entirely, or just not short as much as you wanted to?

 

got 5600 short....not sure what held me back from more....i should have been in at least 10. i made about 75 cents on average which i am not unhappy with. i am more unhappy that i didn't just lay into hpq. this was a pretty big lay up. who knew it would be down this much but you knew it would have a sell off on an acquisition this big.

 

what do you make of the fact that they halted it after the spike?

 

i left before they halted it. i am just going to guess the halted it for the official press release. nothing out of the ordinary.
