Still waiting on responses to my other posts. Why would you exclude handicapped people from your statement?
A bus driver in the US was asked: Are you a racist? His answer: No. For me all people, black or white, are blue. But there are light blue and dark blue people.
Good Morning deaddog, You my buddy man. I'm just saying how I feel. I do not know what I am doing. But all I know is ,I want some reparations money from USA from 100s of years of free labor of black people. You can call me lazy, racist or any other word you can think of. I don't give a damnnnnn. Just give me free money for reparations for being black. That white slaved owner that got rich from free labor was probably called lazy too, but he got paid and got rich. He did the right thing for hisself and family. Good for him. Now i want free money as well if USA is giving it.That's all I care about, getting paid. Or the USA, can give me a free business to run and a pay the workers $0.00 a hour. I take that too. My black ass can damn sure use the money to trade about 1000 ES contracts per day. Also, if you white and you can get some free money from USA , go for it too. Who cares, get rich as easy as possible and as quick as possible.
Whomever you're talking about makes a good point. I'm black and believe me when I say that we are indoctrinated with victimhood from a very early age. That's why you can have people who never experienced any of the things they whine about (outside of the TV) but yet believe so adamantly that they are victims. Very few of us ever shake that mentality but those of us who do typically end up better off. One thing I will say is that there may not be any success to be found in victimhood but there are millions of dollars to be made off of selling victimhood.
your life is likely harder in ways NY_HOOD will never understand. do you still have to fight? Yeah. Everyone does. but blaming the “victim” for not working harder is just a racist dog whistle when they set a society that made your life harder (so they can feel better about themselves). And that’s all this thread is.
I’m afraid that even if everyone would bust their butts 24/7, the bureaucrats in the government would find a way to spend and screw up everything, and economic poverty would remain. (But I know what you meant by the victim mentality, and I agree.) Competent, and committed government is the answer, not just in the US, but in every country, and there needs to be some accountability (for the bureaucrats and for each individual) PS: We as society should not categorize each other by the color of our skin. In this world we have only two kinds of people. Good people and bad people. It is people's beliefs (values) and actions that makes them either good or bad, not the race. My definition of “good” is empathy, kindness, etc, and not necessarily economic success, but I know what you meant by the victim mentality.
Unfortunately some like to play the victim in order to justify bad behavior or to blame their lack of success on wounds that have been healed decades ago.
