It seems that certain communities feel “ entitled and owed something” and yet they are committing the overwhelming amount of violent crime.
The police need to toughen up and start using those batons.

Police have been doing that for a long time. Simply, you must not have received the memo.

    Russia Police

    China Police

    France Police

    United Kingdom Police

How to use a baton and not your gun to take down a dangerous person with a weapon...Columbian style.

Simply, Police have tightened up all over the world. :D

The police are too soft because of liberal DA’s that can care leas about law and order. They dont want too many of a certain type of person arrested.
They dont use batons enough. TheY outlawed them in new york city.
They need to bring them back.

New York police have not stopped carrying batons. They have collapsible aluminum batons on their belts, typically on the same side as the pistol and in a holster either in front of or behind the pistol.

You can buy one for $49.99 to beat the hell out of the smart-ass kid on your street that talks back to you or whenever you believe the kid is "threatening" to you.

Cops themselves are too soft. "when something happens to one of us then it happens to all of us". What shitass dumb mentality is that? No Walmart employee says the same. Nobody else does. Yet policemen and firefighters have this weird notion that nothing should ever happen to them when in fact this job is one of the more dangerous ones. And they completely lose their shit when another cop gets shot. Never understood that. They should man up and stop with this weird theatrical rage.

Another thread of compassion and empathy by @Innervoice. Imagine if he was born Black, poor, obese and homosexual etc.

I think he was simply pointing out that the "compassion and empathy" you speak of now has a price tag - nearly $100B per year in theft alone. And what has it achieved exactly?

I noticed you left out Asians. Many of them come to this country without yet knowing English and are also poor but yet they raise their children responsibly and rarely commit violent crime and destroy neighborhoods.

No, he's repeatedly started anti-fat people, anti-black people, anti-alot of other people threads. This is just another one.
