  2. I have no interest in Nvidia and to the best of my knowledge and belief, neither does gnome. When I needed to know what cards to use, I was told to come here and find gnome as he is the expert on gpu's for trading and I was sold in the quadro card. That's how I came across this venue and I enjoy it.

I trade futures on currencies, metals, indicies, energy, etc and not stocks.

Nothing here but good old fashioned advice, free of course.

Was I THAT transparent? OK, you got me. For every ETer that buys a Quadro NVS card, Nvidia pays me a nickel.

Yeah. Matrox G200 MSS is really a good stuff. The output quaility of VGA is just identical to the DVI digital. I bought two for 4 monitors for just HK$150 each in Yahoo Auction Hong Kong. You may check with it if you still need one. The seller still has stocks for sale.

  7. hi Pipal,

got my MMS at $320 HKD includes the DMS-59 cables, is quad head card. Still have the PCI-E 16x slot vacant, missed the chance to get an OEM nVidia NVS285 @ $200 HKD ($20 USD, LOL), I need something to go 16:10, would be much more productive on wide monitors..

I know someone who buy leftovers from Foxcon (can't spell, in chinese is "Fuji Hong" the Taiwan firm who OEM for Dell) in Shenzhen, will knock myself out with those monitors if I ever get to move to Shenzhen, LOL...

Hey I used ATI 1650pro with dual dvi head before, really good. I used it for a while with 22" 16:10, but didn't feel like it. Now I used with 19" 4:3 monitors.

You know I was just out of my mind, I have already 2 monitors with the MMS 200 and want to have 4 mons now. I should try to get one more cable but somehow I got one more MMS card instead. Now with 2 cards I can go for 8 mons if I want! Silly enough.

Really? Doubt it. There was only one(?) model ever made and long since discontinued. Bet you've really got 19" 5:4.

  10. If anyone is interested, I have a Matrox G2+/QUAD -PL/TVN video card I never got around to using.

This card supports (4) monitors. I also think it has either a TV tuner or can display a TV signal on a monitor.

I have all of the cables, but no manual or software, which can still be found online.

It's been collecting dust so I offer it to anyone here for the cost of shipping, which I can collect via paypal.

    Cheers

    RJ
