ECN Fees at Prop Firms

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by EliteTraderNYC, Feb 9, 2010.

  1. try to take on Nasdaq BX or EDGA... those exchanges actually pay you to take liquidity

  2. Most firms pass all the ECN fees thru. You should not have to negotiate ECN rates.

Are there ECN fees associated with options trading?

There arent any ecn fees associated with options. There is a maker taker model for some options depending on the underlying and the exchange they are traded on. There is also a pro fee for routing to some of the exchanges regardless of make or take if you are considered a professional trader.
