I have always been using NASDAQ for destination for no reason, would like to hear what people are using. lets just start a general discussion of the pros/cons (ie, what you dis/like about it, market shares, etc)of the following destinations: 1-DirectEdge 2-NASDAQ 3-BATS Thanks.
people here are big time paper traders and those that do trade don't even know what ECN is they trade with bucketshops because of their lack of funds bucketshops cater to the poor masses oh and welcome to ET
Edgx- Apparently their orders CAN excute with dark pools NSDQ- Probably one of the most active ECN's around, greatly increasing your chance of getting filled BATS- They do quite a bit of volume. I believe it's most attractive due to higher than average ECN rebates.
Just noticing from your other posts... very hard to keep from asking the question. Are you one of the many Lightspeed employees who posts here?
You use the routes that give you the highest probability of getting the best fills. Also, keep in mind the rebates when you're adding liquidity. If the stock is moving fast, just use the most liquid ECNs (Arca, BATS).
