I ended up hedging my ZG with GC on NYMEX/COMEX (via GLOBEX). How does CBOT ever expect to keep the market share on ZG with fiascos like this going on???

 

This is kind of ridiculous. But what would really be rough is if you are long 5 contracts in a $6000 account, market closes for a real reason (like Chicago blew up), the Dow reopens 2000 points lower and you have a $50,000 margin call.

 

Not read the news? CBOT (and especially ECBOT) will be history in six months time.
