I paid $80.00 about 10 days later I get used item with clearly visible burn marks on metal connectors (circuit breaker was burned out) I simply put it into a trash can and left a negative feedback. I didn't have time to go to a post office to ship it back and than wait another 10 days, my customer was waiting for me to complete the job.

So I got negative feedback in response to my feedback."

No kidding? You couldnt be bothered to ship it back so YOU slammed the seller with a neg? That is being a total ##$@.And then you are surprised that you got a negative? What a shock!

This is what drives sellers crazy...buyers who cant be bothered to follow the rules and then get slammed with negs...

There are not only bad sellers on ebay but plenty of bad buyers.

I bought a $85 sat dish on Ebay Express from a seller with about 105+ all positive reviews but changed my mind within 30 minutes because I didn't think it could arrive by the weekend so I would buy a better one locally for more money."

you didnt read the terms of the auction nor the shipping terms. You have to do your homework before not after you bid.

If you want sears service pay more to shop at sears.Seriously...this nonsense is what sellers have to deal with constantly...Sellers do not get refunded on LISTING FEES every time a buyer flakes.

It was Ebay Express and the item was never shipped yet. I just pressed the Purchase button, then I contacted the seller to cancel within the hour.

Does Amazon, NewEgg or any known stores allow you to cancel an order right after you place it when it hasn't shipped? YES

It was my own fault for changing my mind after I purchased. I would gladly pay the relisting fee if he incurred such a thing. He wanted to be an ass about it and refuse to cancel the purchase.

My total loss will be minimal $10-15 but I believe he should've done the right thing and canceled the order.

  5. Why's an Elite Trader worried about losing $100 or less? That's not even pocket change to an Elite Trader. Everyone on here is rolling in dough.

$100 is nothing. If losing $100 scares you, then you shouldn't be trading.

It's the principle of doing the right thing.

  7. So maybe seller accounts with positive feedback are getting hacked & they put their own account in paypal for the payment

  8. the feedback game has gotten to a new level:

a couple of weeks ago i saw an auction where it stated that they would not ship the product until they received positive feedback (even if you paid). what a joke!

  9. Isn't that extortion, at law?

A brave new world of stoopid, is upon us.

Anyone notice, the defiant proclamations recently , that they WERENT going to introduce compulsory paypal in the US?
    How big of them.

  10. I'm sure your response is typical of the attitude of many ebay sellers: "I shipped you some crap, but the responsibility is on you to either accept it or waste a few hours trying to make me make it good. Oh, and also pay for the shipping charges again."

Honest mistakes can happen, but shipping a piece of crap is not an honest mistake. It's fraud. Maybe a few customers are pricks, but that's the business you chose.
