How does liver get damaged by alcohol?

Each time your liver filters alcohol, some of the liver cells die. The liver can develop new cells, but prolonged alcohol misuse (drinking too much) over many years can reduce its ability to regenerate. This can result in serious and permanent damage to your liver.

Fruit powders are nutritious, easy to use, and incredibly versatile. They don't have added sugar, preservatives, colors, sweeteners, or flavorings. They are ideal for ice creams, desserts, sauces, and smoothies. They are also a great alternative to artificial flavoring in desserts and other types of food.

I need to see if I can find this stuff in the grocery store. (None of the books I've read recommend them as a sweetener...only fresh dates, stevia or monk fruit.)

  3. It's great that you're taking charge of your health through dietary changes! Transitioning to a diet focused on whole foods can have numerous benefits.

    Very confusing / oxymoronic.

You claimed fruit powders are nutritious.

    And you wanted to take

unhealthy ice creams / desserts / sauces / smoothies (which contain tons of
    chemicals/additives/coloring/sugars/man-made food)
together with healthy fruit powders ?!

Don't take ice creams / desserts / sauces / smoothies.
Don't even take fruit powder. Because it might be classified as a highly processed food as you need the machines to torture the fruits into fruit powder.

    Just take fruits.
    Eat much much much healthier!!!

Here people sharing their stories of the grandparents eating McD for decades and living up to 80+:

I agree with Baron, it is what you do that is more important, not what you eat. Except maybe for sugar. But meat and fat and even carbs, OK.

  8. Sugar is the worst.

Im beginning to suspect that the almost worldwide habit of a coffee first thing in the morning is terrible too.

Anything that spikes your insulin is where the damage begins to occur.

Ive been looking at introducing bone broth, beef particularly,as a hot beverage in their place.

Thanks... I didn't notice that. Ever since hitting my mid thirties (30 years ago) I've had to keep a close eye on my cholesterol level(s), so I'm glad you pointed that out.
