Why can't scientists refine sugar like bees do? In order to change sucrose (table sugar) into glucose and fructose, heat, acids or enzymes must be added. It's a complicated process in the lab. But, when it comes to honey chemistry, bees (and their enzymes) are far more efficient than scientists. Why is honey better than glucose? This means that raw honey will provide more even levels of energy, over a longer period of time, as compared to white sugar. Generally, raw honey with a higher percentage of fructose as compared to glucose will have a lower glycemic index. What is the difference between fructose and honey? Honey is primarily made up of sugars (approximately 40% fructose and 30% glucose) and water (17%), with the remainder being other sugars, carbohydrates and a small amount of vitamins and minerals. By comparison, sucrose is a disaccharide made of equal parts of two monosaccharides: 50% fructose and 50% glucose.

What is the difference between sorbetto and gelato? Since sorbetto is primarily water-based instead of dairy, sorbetto typically has the lowest fat content compared to ice cream and gelato. Just like gelato, sorbetto also contains less air than ice cream to give it an indulgently dense texture. Without dairy, sorbetto tends to achieve its rich flavor with fruit. Gelato is the common word in Italian for all kinds of ice cream. In English, it specifically refers to a frozen dessert of Italian origin. Artisanal gelato in Italy generally contains 6 to 9 percent butterfat, which is lower than other styles of frozen dessert. Butterfat content ranges anywhere between 10 to 18 percent in the ice cream industry. Butterfat, a natural fat derived from milk, adds rich flavor, smooth texture, body and good melting properties to ice cream.
Why is it healthier to remove the skin from chicken? Leaving the skin on the chicken raises its calorie count. (Eating chicken with the skin adds a significant amount of calories and fat because the skin of chicken and turkey is high in fat.) One cup of cooked chicken breast without the skin contains 231 calories, and a cup of cooked chicken breast with the skin contains 276 calories. So there's about a 45 calorie difference. How you cook your chicken also matters. Frying chicken, for example, increases its fat content, adding even more calories to your meal. A piece of fried skin-on chicken breast has around 268 calories, while a roasted portion only has 165.
Of note, though, grilling chicken even with skin on is relative low fat because the nature of grilling is that the fat drips off along the way- much of it anyway,

Four of these sites have opened up in Long Beach, which is great for me... As best as I can tell, they only use brown or cauliflower rice, and all their pastas are of the whole wheat variety. Also, all their single dishes are less than ten bucks (not like the $13 to $15 bucks at a restaurant, which doesn't even include the tip) and they'll warm them up for me in their microwave right there on the spot.
I tried cauliflower rice today which, as best as I can tell, is just cauliflower broken up into little pieces. By the way, for my own information...
