is EasyLanguage good enough (or powerful enough) to write Autotrade programs? I am thinking of program to daytrade e-mini index futures.
You need to get onto the tradestation.com forums and see all of the issues involved....and they are NOT actually directly related to easy language. The biggest ones are related to order fullfillment....signals triggering buy/sell orders are sometimes not really filled...so there is special code needed to insure the signal position and your actual position are the same. Also, failsafing the data feed is another issue....you'll need third party utilities to help you detect when the datafeed goes down.
