Hello zghorner, If market wizards is not going to make me money (+$1 million) QUICKLY, why do I need to waste time reading it? Do you understand what I am saying or not? I often think I am not talking to ES traders on this forum. Are you guys stock traders or ES futures market traders??
Trolling or not I believe his point is related to actual edge. Most traders even ones who turn a good profit and are looked up to are mainly using account size, time and natural bullish bias of US equities to turn that profit. Among other edges they have that aren't even directly related to trading and certainly don't transfer over to others, unless they are in the same starting position. This is basically the lowest common denominator and what most people are doing to turn a profit. The amount of people that can actually intra-day trade with edge at a high level, is unbelievably low. If you have actual edge intra-day trading that means you can exponentially grow an account (x2, x4, x8 and etc until liquidity potentially becomes an issue but at that point it's a moot point for most people, unless you're trying to own and maintain mega yachts). Also it means you should be able to trade and perform live in front of people. Maybe there's a few exceptions to this last one, but in general you should be able to if your edge is truly at strong.
Hello semperfrosty, I disagree, because whatever you are studying is Theory and and unproven from the market wizard books is A Lie. So you waste time and you study the wrong thing from a Liar who just made something up just to sell a book and keep an audience attention. You wasting value time, why other traders getting rich. If you do whatever you want to do in trading, you waste no time. If what the books says makes money, why isn't every trader rich and why the so-called stat of 95% of traders lose still exist. This proves reading trading books and trading course is stupid, waste of time and money and making traders lose money. So what that does tell you. You are being fooled. You need to think like a Drug Kingpin to trade the ES futures market. That is how I trade. I am not here to understand trading, I am here to get rich from the ES futures market, and take money.
@semperfrosty just want you to know in my book you are OK. Don't be too upset and welcome to the club. @Darc blocked me too. SML is OK if you just relax and enjoy the coaching and an occasional outburst. I learned a long time ago if I have thick skins, be humble then I may learn a thing or two about how to trade.

What if I told you that successful 'drug kingpins' or heads of criminal enterprises with any longevity are experts in their fields? Even just the art of counter surveillance requires not only a thirst for knowledge initially but also commitment to staying abreast of advancements in the field. No use holding a stack of hundreds to your ear like a phone and partying with strippers if you don't know who's coming at you. Knowledge is power no matter how much you protest.
