Good Evening schizo, That's all cool, I have no problem with that. But you should have the modicum of decency to STFU if you have nothing to contribut to this thread. AFAIK you've added no value here or elsewhere.
wtf is this you fuker. what value have you added here. you are judging others @schizo has posted charts given lessons .
EVERY MOVE IS TWO LEGS. even a single bar is two legs or part of two legs, if seen in smaller time frame.
TWO LEGS or TWO LEGGED MOVE seems like a catch-all phrase these days. There are two legs only because traders want to see it that way. Without any context, however, it means nothing. As they used to say, "It's the context, stupid!".
wonderful debate. the trader's job is to be in synch with market, not judge it , not predict it, not analyse it just observe it it will then be obvious that it is driven by traders .
yes each 'pattern' is part of another pattern. it is all complex patterns which are formed by simple patterns. if you observe the simple patterns you can the trade these and need not see the bigger pattern. maybe this is what scalpers do. the bigger pattern is the context but each move is the same as the larger pattern. the Universe is like that and so are markets.
they see it, yes, because it is they, as a group, as a crowd, who created it. if the first move is strong then traders expect further strength. but what makes the first move strong, is the weak opposite move and renewal of the first strong leg, when it goes through the weak move. this will continue until one move is weak and they will expect weak moves. this goes on all day in all time frames. you could measure it by observing the legs and that is what i do. that is what Brooks does and describes in his books. you could do it in other ways ,i suppose but one way is enough for me. i am not saying it is easy it took me long enough because it can get quite complex.... each two legs getting bigger or smaller. it is obvious that those who say 'trade simply' are seeing some small pattern but not able to define it. i used to do it for a long time and it is well documented here. but it can really improve your trading if you define it and then trade it. the market then cannot use your own doubts against you and then you have the market by the balls
for these reasons only trade liquid markets. so i now trade ES only after 7 am CDT. i trade Aussie dollar because not only is that market liquid but is not ruled by speculators . there are lot of entities-personal, corporate, traders huge government organizations- that use this market for genuine needs other than speculative that really make for wonderful market. a speculator is like a predator ,a parasite ,that lives off something bigger. in ES the bigger predators feed off the smaller. there is only one type, one kind, who live there and that can lead to some amount of buggering. in an jungle a Lion is King but a millions of others live survive thrive and die there. a market is like that and forex futures are as close to that jungle as can be.
