i do not swing TST does not encourage it. i scalp so 1:1 is great and i have a win rate of at least 70% .......workable
Currently throwing away my Larry Williams book. Going to start reading Al Brooks again. Padu is an Inspiration!
handle with care. i suppose you trade 5 min? Brooks sees things no ordinary mortal can.... but just see what he says about second entries. all smart traders use them. find out when you should use second entries and when first entries and you will kill the market.
No I currently swing trade Indexes, but anyone who has good knowledge, whether Day, or Swing Trader can teach principles which are relevant across both types of Trading.
he is very abstract. for example he says all trading ranges whether they are connected by parallel lines or not, have to be traded in the same way. not easy to understand. another bomb is saying all break outs fail.........so i got screwed fading break outs thinking it will go in the other way. then he says the failure will fail and it becomes a break out pull back trade. so he can confuse like hell. not surprising many traders here think he is mad
yes i used to do that for 15 years. it is good thing to do. do you use daily charts: i used those that and stock futures. i use to hold positions for 4-5 months. took a lot of commitment. i burned out and started day trading. slept better.
