I have no idea about your belief system, and you're entitled to whatever it is of course. There are many contradictions in the Scriptures, and especially in many organized Religions. I still hope, and I know that's a bad word at times, that we can do the Earth, our home, better than we're doing now.
How about the argument others have made suggesting that they prevented war/maintained peace during the cold war era?
Did think about that, and did think that our bomb ended WW2, a good thing net net, I guess. And, if anyone has nukes, I want to have nukes too. But, the other things we are doing to destroy the planet, things that can be kept under control, maybe we can and should.
