So you're suggesting that you cannot use open position gains to determine PNL? You Sir, are mentally challenged. Finn beats you every day, but in this case it's not stating very much.
well, if that is the case. Let say someone who bought meta at 1/1/23 for going long and haven’t sold it yet. Ytd it is up 83%. So technically he beats your boy performance, correct?
I honestly don’t know why Dest is being so kind and trying to educate you. Dest has been beyond charitable helping you.
I am still wondering how VinnySim put 100% of his trading account in META on a Sunday, 1/1/2023. I was hoping he'd take ownership of that one. It's a cool story, though.
please elaborate...how does todd help me when i don't understand 99% of the stuff he spews out of his mouth?
So the only point was to source a ticker that performed well YTD, that you don't own, and that you didn't allocate 100% to the position. My point is that you are borderline functional (you're welcome) as it's meaningless to state you own META as the 83% is only significant to the discussion of YTD-performance if you'd put 100% of your cash in it. lol if you own META it's an odd lot. It was up 73%, not 83%. durrrr You couldn't have possibly bought it on Sunday. Your fantasy position would have to be 100% allocation to book 73% YTD. Even if margined your risk-adjusted return would be smoked by my kid's return. lol you're false.
