Ryan said they rarely give out 20% anymore since it costed them to much money in the past, i am curious what kind of performance you need to get the 20% since my risk:reward was so good.

Because of that i am not planning on going with E2T again.

Adjustments to the funding program have had to be made in light of the realities faced while running it. The stark truth is that the funding firm was simply losing too much money from successful candidates who had received a potential to make a $5,000.00 loss. The drawdown level had to be lowered to a standard 10% to ensure that the traders were limiting the amount of contracts and risk they were taking with the company's money. This was a development that came from learning the hard way. The potential remains to increase the maximum drawdown after becoming funded, but until another means can be determined to limit risk while maintaining the trading flexibility we afford our candidates, the starting drawdown will be fixed at 10%, which remains higher than the majority of our industry.

I do understand why you changed the draw down rules, i am just saying that now for $349 there are other company's which offer better value for the price, such as TST $3K for $325, OneUp $5K for $350, SpeedUp $3,5K for $200.

I am not talking about other rules here, just the maximum draw down. It is up to each trader to figure out what they want, just giving my opinion.

Firstly, we are big fans of TST and believe they run an outstanding program. Since you're doing a comparison we also have to point out that for the price you're talking about you must complete it in under one month. Furthermore, the $3K drawdown is on a $100K account (with a $6K profit target). That makes the drawdown 3% of the account, not even 10%.

  5. Traderdock has the next best rules my issue was with TT you have to create an algo to buy/sell at price and traderdock didn't seem to allow the use of algos to add the buttons also the liquidate button doesn't appear to be available on their TT even though its available native to the normal TT by default. I let them know and they said they will add algos. I crapped out of it trading it trying to meet the target before the month was up. Customer service was really good so i would try them again once they add the algo feature. I dont know if this is serious but they are looking for 10 likes and they said they will give out a 50% coupon code. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/review-of-one-up-trader.312133/page-30#post-4855419

$100 a month is a very nice price, unfortunately i am not a TT fan.

I am currently contacting other funding companies to see if i can get any decent discounts there, i allready received a 30% discount from one of them so thats a nice start.

@RDK91 Don’t you think it might be possible for you to get a funding offer from a prop firm without taking a new evaluation, by showing them your 28% return stats ?

  8. Guys,

TT Pro, which includes Autotrader, Autospreader, ADL for algo trading is all available for use - You need to 1. request it - TT Standard is selected by default. Just email me if you want TT Pro. And 2. When pass the Challenge, you will have to cover upfront the cost of TT Pro which is significantly more costly that TT Standard.

Our goal is to offer maximum flexibility to the candidate, both regarding trading style and platform selection. We've not been able to arrive at a positive decision regarding TT on behalf of the prohibitive costs involved to our candidates. In the future if we were able to offer a discounted offer to our customers we would gladly promote the platform to our users.

  10. What do you mean by "with TT you have to create an algo to buy/sell at price". What's wrong with point / click on MD Trader or Order Ticket of a chart?
