With Ignore they can still see your posts but not quote. Block does what you describe. At least that's how I understand it.

  3. I have ignore and block on them...like I said if they are posting to this thread then they are going to great lengths to hate me.

You have a valid perspective and make good points. As the saying goes "You can lead a horse to water,..."

Props to you for attempting to support a struggling trader, as you know the experience is very different when someone is receptive to suggestions or guidance but not only that when they implement them.

I pretty much operate on good faith, however there is a standard by which even anonymous members interact on forums. If there is no respect offered, then there is no possibility of respect gained. Frequent use of profanity, posting fallacious accusations, being demeaning, disparaging and generally being an a** doesn't really go far in generating any kind of respect other than for the most crass.

The fact that I'm responding to you is evident that I haven't lumped you into the category of dream stealers or energetic vampirism, you really haven't personally offended me nor cluttered threads that I'm studying within the archives with nonsense. There are times when I take someone out of the cone of silence just to see if I was mistaken, most times they just go right back in.

If you choose to include yourself in that category, well, I dunno, is that really the best use of your time and energy?

For me, my interest is in high performance and there is a lot of wealth buried within the archives of ET. Some of it doesn't really resonate with me but others quite so. Maybe it's a timing thing, maybe I'm not ready yet. Trading Options on Futures or Spread Trading would fall into that category. I've received a lot of value here for which I'm extremely grateful. Before I came here, I lost 50% of a 50k stake. Within a very short time, that turned around and it's nothing but blue skies from where I am. It does take work, it's been the hardest nut I've had to crack but the money velocity that can be experienced when trading, well,... is quite extraordinary. To think, it just comes down to good decisions and mouse-clicks.

There's a river of prosperity that flows by everyday, it's pretty exciting and I wake up eager for the day.

You can tell by someone's countenance how well they are doing in life. If money is one's sole goal, well there's a lot that one is missing. Yes, it's a site that attracts the money conscious but in my view, insight and understanding are to be priorities and the profits do really take care of themselves.

What attracted me here were folks whom talked about "paying it forward" and spoke a language that I recognized as dropping some pretty serious and solid tradecraft. Instead of being on this forum so say something, a more productive route is reading up on someone's posting history to gain the knowledge. But words don't teach, just reading didn't change anything. It's actively engaging in the material, being open to alternative ideas and testing the veracity for myself that really made the difference.

  5. Sprout,

    I just made another +$81.58.

I am going to need your help to contain my thoughts.

I have examined my Journal and Blocked and Ignored all of the negative trading and details that were holding me back and that was costing me money. I am seeing the positive results from these changes I have made to my trading.

I continue to write down things that I have noticed. For example at this time the pace is slowing now giving me time to write this post. But doesn't the pace seem to be important to put this positive trading period in a frame? When I see this pattern again I will be one step closer to know when to stop trading.

I can SEE the waves and I do not have any charts...lol I am trading from my Traders Dashboard. I watch the profit and loss numbers rise and fall in my sim account knowing the direction I have picked from entry. I then trade my Gauntlet from the SIM account. This last trade took the longest as I entered into the wave too late...but I still saw no more than 1/2% drawdown. But the P/L is not the important point here...it is I can SEE the waves, the flow and the pace.

I am up $297.24 with a total of 9 trades with one contract in NQ, YM & ES (I am not trading the RTY or ZB as I do not have a clear direction in mind) and I do not begin trading until midnight at the London open and then again at the US market open when the pace gives good follow through!

The only reason I am trading now is that I know the direction I am expecting and the SIM started trading at the session open and gave me such clear signals. The pace was not dead and I ate my dinner in the office while trading.

P.S. I am trading so well as I took a cocktail of some Pirecetem, Choline and HTG 5 yesterday. I just take one tablet of each and I am set for the week.

P.P.S. None of this trading is scalping the orderflow with the Uni-Renko bars.

  7. Ok I see...well that's a good thing..

When I get the order book from Rithmic the entire CME book is there, not just 10 levels...what are all of those orders way out of bounds? Are those limit orders?

Yes, it’s a limit order book. Limit orders are considered the passive orders, or liquidity providers, and market orders are considered the aggressor and thus the liquidity taker. Stops are not on the order book displayed until they are triggered and then become a market order which consumes a passive limit order.

  9. So are my targets that are within a bracket order showing as passive limit orders? What if they are market if touched orders?

  10. Jonathon at Rithmic is going to make a chart available for my open P/L on my sim account so that I can TRADE MY SIM (VIRTUAL) EQUITY CURVE OF MY BASKET in the GAUNTLET ACCOUNT.

Remember you heard about this first in ET.

When money approaches the crowd swarms to it...
