caacapital, Please explain? How can I get lower commission than 0? I only pay the pass through fees which total $2.56/RT. The only thing left to negotiate with Tradovate is the $199.00/Mo...or I could lease my own seat. ES P.S. It actually is $249.00/Mo if I do not want to prepay annually.
The commission is the monthly fee. If your making more than 15/RT every week then the fee pays for itself for me it didnt at first i traded alot then i slowed down I ended up paying more than i would have just paying the commissions per trade also the platform is very slow on volatile days.
In this case that you explained...you should have paid month-to-month, instead of prepaying annually. The $199.00/mo turns into $249.00/MO when you choose month-to-month which is $600.00 more per year, but I consider that insurance against the unforeseen. Es P.S. I am not sure about the platform being slow...I just got a 12 stick machine and there is a big difference. So it may be a local issue to you. OTR charts can really slow your system if you do not have sufficient RAM memory. Also multiple tick screens require RAM. I have learned that multiple core machine can be slower. So go for the RAM not the cores.. Windows 10 is a hog.
I got them early when i was trading with a min of a $50/day commission fees so the up front fee seemed like a deal until i slowed down my trading. Im on a gaming laptop max ram M2 main drive I dont have any issues with Sierra running bookmap, jigsaw and while recording and streaming.
If I have this correct... I can see where a consistently profitable trader might take advantage of this if he had no funds but could trade. Especially if he were swing trading. So for $349.00-20% coupon code = $279.20 for a 60-day try at getting an offer (Gauntlet). He could be trading the ES in 60 days with a 25k account where he could trade 4 contracts. His R/T "All-in" cost would be $3.80 R/T. He could use the free Finamark charts and trade from them. He would share 20% of the profit and have the favorable tax advantage that Futures trading allows for on the remaining 80%. He can use the ACH system for no fee withdrawals and there are no other fee's other than $105.00/mo from the CME for pro data fee's. Yes I can see it...I might even try it, even if I do have the money. ES
Just to clarify, it’s $349 base price. So any discount would come off that. In addition, there are pro data fees in the live account. This charge is billed to the trading account directly and not the trader themselves.
Good deal...How much are the pro data fees currently for ES trading in Finamark...no DOM. I corrected my post above. ES
Pro data fees are set by the CME. There are no up charges. CME current rates are $105/mo per exchange.
