early open sunday for nymex energy

  1. what time and sales are you looking at ?

    heck I am short some
    USO against my forex and metals positions and
    I am nervous after the late spike in the day
    even if I sold the spike

    but my own eyes and source ( s ) I rely on for data show
    "POST CLOSE" prices went a good bit higher

    anyway ... we will all know in the next 24 hours where
    the futures markets will open

  6. I believe the 2:00 preopen is the period where the begin accepting orders, I guess it matters more in a time where the exchange has an unscheduled opening. Not an expert on the subject but I know it happened last year on the CBOT when it was shut down for a couple of hours.

    Oil is obviously going higher, but I would also note several models have the storm decreasing in strength prior to landfall. Going to be interesting for sure.

  10. Ice otc trades all the time... Currently 8.435 last as of 5:55 CST. Not as much of a pop as you'd expect...
