  2. If you want the biggest laugh of all, go into the Journals forum and read thru' some of the threads - that has gotta be THE ultrasonic delusional place on earth. And the fellows that state clearly that they wake up each morning to long to go read the journals of others? I fell off the chair when I read this the first time. :) :) :)

  3. In the real world there is a readily observeable axiom - only the tigers survive and even they have a hard time

The original designers of the game on earth (whoever they might be but regardless, the game has been ongoing for 70+ million years, it is well entrenched and HERD agreement is the norm) scored magnificently with ONE GIANT HOMERUN, namely the only way to successfully hammer a clever, resourceful individual was to stick him in with thousands and thousands (they call them millions) of stupid people - they couldn't breaK him/her by physical beating, flogging or even by mental abuse. Oh no, the only way was thru' "contagion of aberration"

  4. You've noticed this no doubt - get in your car and leave the city/town and head out into the country - there is a specific point at which you will notice, "hey I feel good" and if something was bothering you before, it starts to ease at this point.

What you have just run into, unbeknownst to you consciously or analytically is spatial release - the separation from the bulk of mental mass that exists in the city. You still have your own and that of the passengers' but it is supremely less than what you were forced to carry when in the city.

This is why we have V A C A T I O N S .... its the spatial release of stress by virtue of relinquishing some tentacles of this massive collective mass. A new place visited, even if a city, exerts less force on one because one's agreements are not tied there - they are tied back HOME. So there is some release here and any release is significantly better than none.

  5. It was for this reason that in my younger working days I always avoided sales meetings AND sitting yaking with a bunch of guys in a coffeeshop before heading out to close deals.

On off days, hey what the heck but even then I tried to keep the group small and we always went where the crowds didn't go - this meant being extra resourceful in finding, searching for those offthebeaten path passages that weren't listed in mags or books.

In Puerto Vallarta a long time ago I remember finding my very own a nice hideaway called Mismaloya - not a soul had found it except for the few locals of course. The 4 of us (2 guys and 2 gals) stayed there for days, we had hotel rooms in the city but used 'em for showers and change of clothes etc., - slept right on the beach at night or in the hills overlooking the beach.

Had we stayed with the HERD in the city and done the same shit that HERD members do day after day year after year - fck I'd have died of boredom.

  6. The preceding DETOUR brings me back to ET, a virtual place yes, but one that exerts significant force on the INDIVIDUAL who by definition operates outside the realm of group thunk.

ET thinking is the same, the timeframe 3-5 min. is unanimous, the charts all look the same and they are ALL blank. In fact once I was shocked to see one of Ivanovich's charts had a trendline. :) :) :) :)

But the worst is the lack of disagreement between those who have coalesced into internal groups. This can't possibly be good for creativity.

So, what I've done with the posers/liars list is just what I would have done in real life.

Nothing more, nothing less, no biggie.

No hard feelings on my part, ever. :) :)
