Over two weeks ago I requested a simple modification for E-Signal's Keltner Channel. I heard nothing back. So I then followed the procedure for when you don't hear back from them. I still heard nothing.

Then I received the above post, and while I found the "excuse" to be absurd, I did as instructed. Sill no reply.

need I mention that I am less than impressed, and just a tad disgusted?

Perhaps the day will come when you get your acts together, and perhaps the day will come when I once again consider using your data feed. I requested a simple modification, and followed the procedure - it is not worth spending countless hours learning your programming language - especially when other charting services already offer the study.

Thanx ever so much for all your help, and best of luck to anyone else who believes your offer to help.

    Tampa,

You sent an email directly to me and not the formula request mail box? I did not receive an email from you. While you find the current problem that most business in the internet world experience as an absurd "excuse", I can tell you it's very real.

I would like to help. Please try one more time to send an email too; asmith@esignal.com and if it's not answered within two hours call me thru our toll support number 800-762-7538 and be sure to ask for Andy Smith.

    Regards,
    Andy S.

Could not help but notice that you have been on line most of the day. Also could not help but notice that there has been no explanation, nor an apology - and of course, no modification of the study I requested over two weeks ago.

Of course I am the asshole here, as I foolishly believed that you and your organization delivered on what you offer. And I have the unmitigated gall to point out that for all your promises, the customer is always wrong.

Again, thanx so much for your prompt attention in this matter.

  4. ANNOYING thing about quote windows -

when you hit "Enter" after entering a symbol into a quote window, the cursor is still on the same line. you then have to press the down arrow key to go to the next line to enter a new symbol. ESPECIALLY if you're on a laptop and the down arrow key is in a weird place.

when you do this in Excel, (after filling in a box) the cursor automatically goes to the next box, which makes sense since 99% of the time you enter symbols into a quote window, you enter more than one. having to press the down arrow key is 1)extra work; 2)annoying, because more often than not, you forget about having to press the down arrow, and you accidentally replace the first symbol you typed with the next one and then have to go back and start all over again...

  5. Only if you keep the standard settings (I believe that is the default but you can change the settings). Mine is set up to remain in the box I have just used. But you do have the choice in excel...

This is beyond belief! I note that the post you left at about three this afternoon has been removed. In that post you said that had I not heard anything on my request within two hours, to call you.

Two hours has come and gone - still I have heard nothing.

The post also went on to explain away the obvious over sight with the "tens of thousands" of spam messages inundating you daily. Then I log on to find a PM, again going into painful detail on "50,000 to 100,000 spam messages a day.

I now have sent four different requests for the modification. One to the direct support link. One to the link received when the first request was acknowledged. And two directly to you, as provided by you.

This is bullshit - plain and simple. Had your organization put the time and effort into doing the modification as has been put into "explaining" your spam e-mail woes, the entire matter would have been resolved TWO WEEKS ago.

At this point I do not know what the problem is, nor do I care. The episode has left a very bitter taste in my mouth in-so-far as esignal is concerned. I am fed up and disgusted. I will get the study from some other provider, thank you.

I guess that I am lucky - all I asked for was some help, God forbid I should have been trying to collect some money!

Would I recommend your service to others? No. Will I continue to do business with you myself? No. And all over a petty routine matter - one that has been botched from the beginning, and one that the mighty company can not stoop to correct, least it admit it's own failure.

Well, you win. I will trouble you no more.

sounds like "Andy" is trying to help. So why be rude to him. Esignal may not be perfect... but U ever consider what you'd do without it bro.?!

    p.s. Hi Natalie... miss U? :)

BTW - the request sent four times to you, was also posted on this very forum! See the above.

That's all I asked for - nothing more, nothing less. It's right there in black and white, and has been for many days.

    So what's your excuse now?

In addition to the PM I sent you earlier, we just realized you can use the enter key and have the mouse cursor move to the next line.

In order for that to work, you have to turn the linking off ( hit the link button in the upper left next to the small symbol box ). Cursor will then work as you want. When you then want to alternate symbols on the same line so linked windows update as well, then you simply turn the linking back on.

    Thanks.

Per my PM, we're working on your request today and will hopefully have something for you by the end of the day.

Sorry for the delay and confusion regarding these emails.

    Thanks.
