A stop will ALWAYS get filled, might be some slippage but will get filled.

    Make 'em pretty, Chris

WOW, great, just found it! How do we get it moved from the drop down menu to perhaps the drop down type or a button or a hotkey or something a little more convenient?

    Thanks, Chris

Is there some place to drop suggestions like this?

  4. Will these bracket orders let you sell only 1/2 of your order
when it hits your desired sell price? Or do you have to sell
    it all?

Are you placing "stop market" orders? Those should fill just as fast as a market order?
I like trailing stops because they are self adjusting. But if you find that they do not trigger, they would be useless. Just have to watch the pot closely in that case.

    Catman,

I would not worry too much about slippage,, the only time when there is a significant amount of slippage is when there is some economic report or some news worthy event. I would be a little concerned if you are going through the older order routing system called TOPS,, it goes down a lot and if you sent a market order,, good luck....... the only other alternative is to use a professional platform for your trading like XTrader from TT it is the best.....

    Good Luck
