When is the last 'safe' date to roll from Dec to Mar in the ES?

 

Define "safe".

I suppose the answer is, the sooner, the better, because the Dec contract will get thinner and thinner as we approach the expiration on Dec 19th.

 

Just do it now and be done with the old contract.

 

when the new contract volume equal or exceed the old.
