  3. hello bronks,

i know this sounds useless, because it is said in hindsight, but if you had taken a look at the daily chart before the opening, you could have seen the possibility of a "turtle buy setup" = a test of the last low + reversal (the gap up would have supported that).

i think it could be helpfull to take a look at the dailies first...

    :) trading

Thanks Hardcash. Trying to stretch out my time frames is something I'm working on. Cheers.

Chased the rally towards the end. Kept looking for an ideal entry instead of just buying into it like I usually do. Up at that point by over 9 points, I actually wasn't even gonna trade in the afternoon because of my tendency to donate money back, but she suckered me back in with a wink and a smile. When ahead, I tend to be too quick to take a loss, hence me dabbling around the 915-917 level. I thought the risk/reward was positive around there 'cause I was expecting a run-up to the 935-940 into the close. But the root of the problem was actually entering too late on the ramp. Hindsight is always 20/20 unfortunately.

On a side note; I'd like to apologize to everyone for my tirade on another thread. It wasn't very smart of me and I feel like an idiot for doing it.

    * Sub... you win. Would you like it gift wrapped?

Mahhhvelous suggestion, although I think he's to young to know what to do with it.

Excellent trading, by the way. You suck :)

  9. this could be a projektion for today. a "grail sale" (resistance trough 20EMA) setup on the dailies will be kick in at around 947...

DONT EVER THINK THAT WAY or you will miss a lot of great moves... :)

    good luck

  10. Hi bronks,

+5.5 points...good trading. Better trading if you were happy with the results of your trading plan.

A lot of traders were expecting the morning price pullback in the Eminis.

Further, it was a good day for profits for Shorts (morning) and Longs (late afternoon).

bronks...have you figured out why you tend to donate money in the afternoons? Also, do you mean the Mid-day trading session or the late afternoon trading session or both?

Those are two distinctive intraday cycles for the Eminis and I was just curious which one was causing you trouble. (Actually...I've seen some Emini traders break the Mid-day and Late Afternoon trading cycles down into more cycles)

Also, there's no such thing as a late entry if you had a trade setup via your trading plan. Late entries in my opinion are chasing something without a trade setup.

Congrats...your account is rising again and consistently over the past trading days. Nice trend reversal.

Look forward to seeing your entry/exit times for yesterday's trading.

    Take care.
