He didn't short for that amount per se...4180.00 is where he dumped his whole load of 13,522 long contracts, but his algo simply oversold by 103 contracts, and he quickly closed them out. That's how I interpret it.
the way he traded by few points, he needed to hold almost a whole day for 50 points move or he fat fingered and got luck.

My goodness! This trader might end up giving up living if he were to trade live. It was demo trading as the STOP column was not shown. That's why there was a very long string of profits and a short string of losses. In the real world, you can't get a very long string of profits even if you try to scratch a trade. He has to rewrite his demo trading platform program to make it more realistic.
Do you know the timezone of those timestamps? The T&S log for today's ES will be up tomorrow, and we can drill down to see if those trades really did hit the tape (if those larger 1K trades went through as blocks).
