Yes, you can get Futures Options quotes from TOS to Excel via DDE. Some of the greeks are available as well, like Delta, Theta and Gamma. Not sure about the rest.
I just started using DDE/Excel a few weeks ago, so I haven't used it for long, but I'm thoroughly annoyed that it's been broke all week (since the update). I'm wondering is there another alternative to using DDE from Ameritrade ? I came across TraderXL for Ameritrade - anyone use it or the Trader Journal Spreadsheet ? In case I do stick with Ameritrade - I've been trying to figure out if scripting is possible to add a column to export for: price/book price/sales annual revenue dividend date (I can't believe those columns aren't already in TOS.) A couple of the columns didn't export properly before the patch (YearlyRelativeRange and RSIWilder) - I noticed these are locked colmuns in TOS although I don't know if that's relative? Any ideas on how to get those columns data to show properly ?
FYI - I just got off phone w TOS, and Open Office might work ... and they're trying to get a new feed system in approx Feb 15. (I think he said RTQ? can't recall)
"Fred" posted a nice explanation of Thinkorswim's DDE problems at the bottom of this Thread: http://tinyurl.com/FredExplain I downloaded Apache OpenOffice (successor to OpenOffice). DDE with TOS and OpenOffice worked fine. I am going to use OpenOffice as a temporary workaround until Thinkorswim gets DDE working with Excel 2010 (again). Now I just have to rebuild my spreadsheet in OpenOffice... I have called TOS a bunch of times and every time they say they have plans to fix it ... so I'm not holding my breath.
